  "watching the world" in awake has always been used as a tool to promote certain doctrines like blood, the u.n etc.

  in the new "step-parents" awake magazine, it has an article claiming how 1 in 3 college students would consider stripping or sex work to pay for it!!!

  anti college propaganda????

  Wondrously ironic that the GB would says such things concerning Universities and colleges when they themselves have never been to

  one for any length of time or have been in social environment as such.

  But as I said before they are the Executive propagandists representing the WTS. and they have the on going

  responsibility to lie and send out false information to their members so to keep them intellectual restrained and instead encourage

  the free labor work of distributing their publications.

  The Watchtower Publishing house is synonymous with lies and corruption, this is vitality important and enacts the organizations sustainability.

  i was reading the article posted in slimboyfat's thread: mormons decline because of internet, ( http://www.reuters.com/article/2012/01/31/us-mormonchurch-idustre80t1cm20120131 ) .

  former mormon church reseacher, ray briscoe was quoted: "i have never been associated with an organization that changes as fast as the mormon church.

  i don't think god was ever against blacks in the priesthood.

  NO, for the simple reason the WTS leaders will stand and back up what the bible says about homosexuality .

  Realizing that homosexuality is a result of genetic biological imbalance, will never reach into the thin intellectual mind set of the GB

  The majority of the WTS. books have gone out of print and distribution, mostly out of the fact that they contained

  a plethora of bullshit and misinformational trite.

  The BS this religious publishing house puts out has a very short viable shelf life.

  Another bullshit story by a group of men who are practiced at bullshitting as the leading propagandists for the WTS. organization..

  The WTS. looses a lot of their devoted members when they go to college or university

  for the obvious reason the person starts to intensionally use their brain.

  The bible is a mixture of factual events that happened involving the ancient Hebrew nation, entwined with those factual events

  were embellished stories told by the Hebrew scribes and priests of their god in which they worshiped namely Yahweh.

  Those many stories were told to create standing relevance to their god, such as Noah's flood, the great cataclysmic event of Armageddon and so on...

  All ancient civilizations and the many diverse gods of which those civilizations worshiped, had told an enormous amount of stories of what their god

  or gods were to do for these select people, going as far back and further than the ancient Egyptian civilization.

  It would be therefore fair to say that all stories told of the gods were inspired by godly devotion and worship.

  The bible shows a practical reference to that.

  As its been pointed out before many times, alcohol consumption is the approved source of getting high

  in side the JWS, as a result I never heard of anyone who was a JW to be DA or DF for boozing too much.

  Just make sure your not snockered coming to a meeting though and all will be fine.

  The hypocritical thing is if a person wasn't into booze but like to smoke some marijuana on occasion, well that would be

  a case for some tattle taling and a visit by an elder.

  If Jesus had turned some fig leaves into marijuana when he was on earth, marijuana would be approved by the WTS.

  How does my mother manage to sound very convincing about the WTS?

  seriously, the wts quite often comes upin conversation with my mother,i get all the updates and who was asking about me etc.. and inevitably i can hold my tongue no longer, tho i'm very careful to phrase everything as a question.. so, the subject of dfing came up as someone in her cong just got the boot, and we were talking about shunning and why i don't think 'quit mixing with' means quite what the society says it does.

  now, even she doesn't entirely agree with the wt on this one, but then she still defends it and goes on about keeping the cong clean etc.. and we have also talked about other things i don't agree with, un, college, spirit appointed elders, 7th king etc.. and while she doesn't always completely agree with th wt she always defends it and i find myself almost buying into it!

  it's not until later that i can think more clearly and see my original point of view makes much more sense!.

  How does my mother manage to sound very convincing about the WTS?

  Because thats exactly how she has been trained to talk and coerce people toward the WTS.

  All the mental programing that she has personal acquired about other religions, as well of the WTS./JWS

  has been mentally indoctrinated by the WTS. The unfortunate part is she isn't aware of the corruption and lies that make

  up this organization. Since the WTS. has posed a life or death situation toward her, as to her support of this organization,

  it's not surprising that she and many others are so steadfastly devoted, even to the extent of encouraging you to return for your own personal welfare.

  It does take a bit of understanding of human psychology with some compassion to realize your mother's devotion to the WTS.
