  I love the chart! But I had to think... who were the 10 that Satan killed? I thought the worst he could be blamed for was a lie.

  If reading the Bible as a JW, why bother meditating?

  i was inspired to write this based on a post in another thread.. as a jw you are told to read and let the bible speak to you.. that would mean that you could reach a different conclusion on a certain scripture or account.

  but that may not coincide with what the fds has as an explanation or conclusion.

  this in turn, according to the standard makes you wrong if you "want" to be humble and wait for "new light.".

  It's Me, I know just how you feel. I had been out for two whole decades, and discovering this about the Watchtower and the UN absolutely rocked my world.

  I understand your chagrin completely, Dear Loz! I was out for two decades, yet the discoveries on this site affected me SO deeply!

  Understand that your reactions to your current realizations are all part of the healing process. You won't be this angry and emotional forever. Allow yourself to get mad... just try not to alienate any loved ones with your current passion.

  i got to thinking about this reading the thread about scriptures they don't use (they have a real problem with jesus.

  seems they could solve a lot of problems by just announcing that they aren't a christian religion at all, they're a jewish sect!

  they would no longer have to worry about all that stuff jesus said about forgiveness and love.

  Don't give them any ideas. (In other words, yeah, that sounds about right!)

  This is not to slight any of Jewish faith. The Jewish faith is actually amazingly progressive. The JW version would be a fundamentalist zealot Jewish sect... and all fundamentalist zealots are much more about rules than what is actually right.

  RANDY WATTER'S DAD JUST DIED

  randy watters, owner of freeminds.org father just died a couple of hours ago from pneumonia and alzheimers.

  he was 86 years old.

  as randy has been tireless in his efforts to help countless people come out of the wts, i would like to express my sincere condolences to him at this time.. .

  this is just a note to all who have assured me of their fondness for me, on board and in pm.. i really appreciate it, and i feel the same about y'all.. this is a great site, and i do get a bit carried away at times.. blame it on too much loneliness and not enough to do on the job, but not on deliberate crassness.. ok?.
