Sorry to hear about your health. I live in a place that I have no desire to leave.I'm in PA about 30 minutes from Philadelphia. It is smog free, lots of trees and beautiful scenary. I am close to all major convencies, yet tucked away on my own acreage. Maybe you ought to consider just moving outside of Dallas.....1/2 hour or so away. I've never been to Texas, too hot for me. I prefer the season changes. It makes life more interesting for me. If you like the general climate in Texas as well as the fact that all of your friends and family are there, I would think it would be logical to just get out of the city and into to burbs!

yes, this is an uncomfortable subject and many here are filled with fear when the subject even comes up.
some choose to make fun of the situation while others declare the person to be insane.. i think it is fine to believe whatever you want to believe on this subject.

I have a few questions for you:
1) I read your posts carefully in both threads. There seems to be a discrepancy with regard to the amount of 'experiences' you claim to have had. One place you say only one time....another place you claim during the day.....another place you claim in bed....another place you claim it occurs occasionally. WHICH IS IT?
2) If you still believe in most of the WT's doctrines.....why are you here?
3) I am happy to hear that your therapist tells you that you are not crazy for holding the belief that demons exist but I am to understand that she too holds the belief that demons exist? I assume that what your therapist is saying is that your are not crazy for holding the belief.......but what does he/she say about the cause of these occurances. Figments of your imagination? You are unclear there as well.
4) I also noticed that you mentioned sexual abuse. Are you also saying that you are a silent lamb? Please elaborate if you feel you can.
I felt sorry for you initially and took alot of flack for trying to defend you on both threads. I really hope you were being honest. I never received an e-mail from you which shows me once again your possible insincerity. From my experience with these occurances, generally the person with the 'claim' is extremely eager to speak to someone to relate to and who offers assistance. I find your story odd. dj

I recently met a sweet man who was sent to prison during WW2. He spent 5 years there!!! When he got out of prison he could not find work because he was a convicted felon! He is a member on this board but very rarely comes. He lives in Alabama and he knows Ray Franz. He never had any children because the end was coming!!! All that I am saying is that Wenesday is new and some posters were rude to her. She should receive better treatment than that IMO.
Her experience is not uncommon, however in my experience ( as I stated above) most shrinks will label her as a schizo......hearing voices and seeing things...I mean that is what a schiz is.
I think that that diagnosis is incorrect many many times. Especially when someone was involved with the jw's. I have met many people who have had this experience and even worse. A few of these people had a friend with them who saw the same thing. Wed. would more than likely be labeled with a mental illness and have to carry that with her throughout her life. It is an innacurate diagnosis! I read what she said and it is not too extreme.....I know of many who have had this experience last for weeks at a time and they are perfectly fine now. IMHO....it is because of the WT's dabblings into spiritism (ie: Johannes Greber, etc) that this stuff occurs with e jw's more than most religions. Generally, once they are free from the influence of the WT's teachings and indocrination, they are no longer troubled. She can be free of this w/o the medical community labeling her. I am not saying that she should go it alone, she needs help from people who understand. dj

I am so sorry to hear this news. It breaks my heart. My dad has brain tumors. The doc's had him written off but he is alive and doing well one year later!
I would strongly suggest a 2nd and 3rd opinion! Has anyone spoken to you about stereotactic radiosurgery?? IMRT??? This is a form of radiation treatment that is directly pinpointed to the cancer site. My dad has had wonderful success with this treatment. His chemo did not work and only made him sicker. The radiosurgery was what helped him. Try to ask questions about this. Even make an appt. at a top hospital with a Radiation Oncologist. Preferably a teaching Hospital.
I cannot answer the KH question for you. I will not go with my dad. I am now a Christian and I have no use for KH's. I will pray for you and your husband for guidance spiritually and physically. So sorry. Hold your head up and be prepared to run off of adrenaline. Hug that hubby and don't let go. I am glad that he has you.

i have had a number of iincidents that appear to demonic've had spirit beings sit on my bed at ight and talk to me i've been literally touched by things unseen.
now i know the jw are big on demon stuff.
