i have had a number of iincidents that appear to demonic've had spirit beings sit on my bed at ight and talk to me i've been literally touched by things unseen.
now i know the jw are big on demon stuff.

by CC Ryder inpoor tink had to be rushed to the hospital early this morning 2:00am.
she went to bed fine but after several hours of pain and discomfort it got so bad she woke me up.
she had severe chest pain and pain in the center of her shoulder blades.

JT.......I never claimed that scientific versions of 'new light' claims to come from God. The anology merely suggests that on any given day, science claims one thing to be true only to change it the next. One only needs to tune into the local news channels to see this! People here claim that science cannot prove the existence of demonic activity. I am only saying that they cannot prove it to be false either.
Englishman..........i am not sure if you read the thread by Wednesday or not. I felt that she was treated disrepectfully. She did not need to be told that she is crazy. I know of many people who have encountered this sort of thing and it stopped and they are fine. Telling her to go to a mental health professional will cause her to be labeled as a schizophrenic and medicated for the rest of her life. Basically, her life would become totally thrown into an upheaval. She would be labeled for life! I have seen this problem effectively handled without the use of medical science. I am not saying that all people with mental illness should not seek medical attention but she is not an extreme case. I have seen many people freed from this horror. dj

I think it is fine to believe whatever you want to believe on this subject. However, I am in total disagreement that folks deem it necessary to make light of the situation. This is very injurious to the newbie and I am dissapointed that YOU, of all people would be so freekin insensitive and downright rude to someone who is reaching out. You may not believe in it but that does not give you the right to cause further harm to a person who is vulnerable and frightened. Is that how we should handle other subjects. What about scientific evidence???? Science is totally unable to explain plenty of things!!! Science gets their own version of 'new light' every day too!!! Treating others with respect and comfort is something alien to you. You still act like the dubs, for crying out loud. You are entitled to your opinions but you should use your common sense to decide if your opinion will help or harm someone. You sound like elders who demand 2 witnesses for something to be valid.
This is certainly not meant for many on this board, but it is an issue that needs addressing and those folks know who they are. It is unwise at the very least to offer your advice when it could cause further harm to one of your fellow x's. Didn't you learn anything since you left the dubs? Self-righteous, ignorant behavior should be thrown away along with the NWT and Johannes Greber. dj

I am sorry for all of the crap you just had to read. Some people here are content in their ignorance and find their bliss in it. Truth is they are living in a denial induced by the trauma of the the WT. They have rejected the false teachings of the watchtower as I have...but as a result they choose to simply dismiss everything they taught as totally wrong. I went through that phase too. I realized that I had a lot to learn and re-learn and didn't dare give advice or make light of someone else's pain. I think that when someone reads a thread and doesn't have anything worthwhile to contribute to someone who is hurting.....they ought to shut their big mouths and quit acting like they know it all. Grow the hell up!
Wednesday.....please go here and read this. I posted this at a time when I realized that a majority of the folks here are big mouthed know it alls who really need some lessons in courtesy.

I agree with what you said. It made me see people differently too. Helpless, afraid, lonely. The people who suffered that day were just like us. I was moved by the love shown as well. It was such a different scenario than the WT paints of humanity. The other night on Larry King Live on CNN, I heard a song by a singer named Alan Jackson.......this song said it all. Even my husband was impressed. This song is powerful with down to earth soul, capturing the very essence of that day. I am not a fan of country music by a long shot, But this man did an amazing job. Please, listen to it somehow....you'll be glad you did. dj

I keep thinking about you. I felt the same way as you do. It will get better. I left the wt without the internet. I did research in books and prayed. I would also recommend "Crisis of Conscience" to you and " In Search of Christian Freedom."..they are both by Ray Franz. I just finished these! I wish that I knew about these books in 1995 when I began my departure.
Your fears about the big A are normal...( I think that some people think you mean Apostate, I take it to mean Armageaddon, am I right? The demononic stuff....that is something to be concerned with as well. I think you'll find that a large marjority of people here tend to make fun of demons. It is their own way of coping, I guess. I believe that, in large part the demonic problems with the WT (they have many) are a result of their ties to spiritism. I never would have believed that,,,,,but it's true and documented...as in the case of Johannes Greber and John 1:1, etc..........!

I would also highly recommend books by David Reed such as, Jehovah's Witnesses Subject by Subject and another called Verse by Verse. These were a tremendous help to me! Most of all, don't forget to pray for guidance in seeing the real truth...which is not the WT but it is Jesus!! dj

Believe me, I know what your'e feeling. You are going thru the same thing that I did and many others here. I do not come here much because for me, there are too many atheists, etc. I would love to chat with you and lend an ear if you'd like. I too, was raised a JW and my family is still in it. I am not anymore and I am married with 2 children. I live in PA. I have a wonderful, supportive husband. I have been away from the Watchtower teachings since 1995-96. You are doing the right thing for yourself and your children!! These steps that you take now are crucial. Don't be discouraged about the TIME it takes to go thru this!!
