  Has anyone noticed?

  i was reading truthseeker's post's about the summer convention.

  s/he kept saying that the convention this year is focused on jesus.. i have been watching and comparing what is being said here and the things presented by the botchtower babble society, both in the local meetings and the assemblies/conventions.

  it seems to me, without actually looking up post's, that what is presented to the r&f follows what is challenged here in jwd by a week/month or two.. for a quick example, this particular convention is speaking about jesus.... a lot.

It seems to me, without actually looking up post's, that what is presented to the R&F follows what is challenged here in JWD by a week/month or two.

  For a quick example, this particular convention is speaking about Jesus.... a lot. Think about it. In the past few months it has been observed that Jesus has been ignored in meetings/assemblies/conventions. Now it is addressed. Like I said, without going back and linking thoughts here with what has been presented in their indoctrination at the sales meetings, it seems that within weeks or months that they address what is said in here.

  I think this link has been exposed ad nauseum. I know you didn't know it. I can't blame you for bringing it up.

  Personally, I am appalled, as are many who have seen it. I understand many others who applaud it.

  Either way, she did what she did and if it makes her feel better for it I am happy for her. I know that what it takes for each of us to face our demons may differ with others' opinions. I am glad for her if it worked for her.

  J.W. DOCUMENTARY TONIGHT (SUNDAY) 10 P.M.

  there is a documentary tonight at 10 p.m. eastern time, on "independent lens", cable channel 21 on cox cable in new england.

  (also called...pbs, wgbx channel 44).

  it's titled..."members of jehovah's witnesses" and the info says.."two families are practicing members of jehovah witnesses".. i will tape it, and critique it on this thread after i review it.

  I tried "knocking" in my TiVo, nothing for today (Sun) or even Tues. My TiVo knows what is aired for about a month. Is it possible that "my" PBS is one of the ones not willing to air it?

  Thank you all for your input. I am thrilled that so many have responded. Like I said my fish is doing ok because I have "listened" to so many and I am right now trying to ignore the color of the water and changing the water everyday. It is hard, but I am trying to live out the color of the tank. With the changes of water, all seems to be doing well.

  DJK, I thought buying from Petsmart was a step better than Walmart, who's fish swim sideways and have ick so bad it flows in the water. From past experience though I find this purchase no worse than a few pet shops I have bought fish from.

  No new fish. I was told these fish COULD live 12 years or so, I just might need to go up in size (of the tank) occasionally since they grow so fast. Both were new to me recently. Within a month. I bought something to condition the water before introducing new water. I put in "Clear Water" when the water became cloudy. I did not scrape the sides of the tank because I know that you need bacteria in the water.

  Years ago I had a 40 gal. tank and after awhile I got the hang of it. I did find out then that our water was not fit for consumption. (Now I buy bottled water for us. LOL)

  I remember years ago that my brother came from NY to AZ with a fish that they kept in a bowl and even set it in the rear window (can you imagine the sunburn? *shivers*) Anyway, I digress. The fish lived through 3,000 miles and many changes until it hit Tucson. We changed the water and within 24 hours it was dead.

  So far so good on the change of water last night with filtered water. This fish was hiding, and gasping, but now it has life and is even eating.

  jgnat, what do you do in the meantime with the fish. When I changed the water last week I wanted to wait and left them in another environment and my favorite died. Hard to fluch your fav.

  restrangled, I added the drops and s/he seems to be ok today. The filter was gross!!! but the fish seems ok. With everyone's help I hope to save the fish. TY for responding.

  Thank you poet. I am never ceased to be amazed at the lengths some go to in here to help others. Not only did you respond but you ACTUALLY called someone about this. You are too kind. I have not read the 2 sites yet, but I will in a few minutes. TYTYTYTY!!! (3 times for emphasis don't ya know)
