I believe God still has plans for Isreal and that Isreal still holds a special place.
BTW - they have some pretty awesome jet fighters - have you ever seen one of the documentaries on their air force? Impressive!
according to the borg, the jews of today no longer have a special relation with god, because they did not accept jesus as the messiah.
in fact, they're viewed almost as bad as the catholic church in the wt literature.
only "spiritual israel" counts.

you're angry and thoroughly pissed off with all things apertaining to jehovah's witnesses.. you also know that this thread will be read by active jw's.
some of those jw's will be in the brooklyn bethel right now, reading what you write.. so, is there one thing, one belief, one policy, that, if it were to be changed or anulled, would mollify you?.
is there one change that they could make that would stop or lessen the active antagonism that you feel against the wt?.
Re: If You Could Tell Brooklyn Just One Thing
How about....
KISS MY A$$?! Yea - that feels good. Ok - all better now
Really though - I wouldn't waste my time telling them to change anything, because they would still miss the most important of it all - that they are NOT the channel to God or the mediator. Only Jesus is - and they are trying to kick him off his throne.
JW related - I had a sister tell me that Satan created all the dinosaur bones to try and mislead everyone.
My response...........then ...then LMAO!!! She didn't appreciate it.
hello all you spies for the watchtower!!

Good for you!
Oh - and WT spies......I'm praying for you. I know a power higher than the one you are under if you're REALLY looking for truth - pray and ask him to show you.

a headline on today's usa today says that obesity is the #1 killer.
if being fat is such a health risk (like cigarettes), why don't the jws disfellowship people for being obese?.
i know in some cases, people gain weight due to medical problems that are hard to control.
((((orangefatcat))))
The way I see it - if people are judging you by what you look like on the outside then they're not worthy of knowing the person on the inside!
i was talking with my mother-in-law this evening and came upon an intriguing thought.
it's less stressful now that i'm not expected to judge other people.
i know we're all human and still do judge other people even subconsciously - but i mean, not being expected to pigeon-hole individuals into categories.

I know we're all human and still do judge other people even subconsciously - but I mean, not being expected to pigeon-hole individuals into categories. Like my mom-in-law said, it's so much easier just to love people. She's right - that "responsibility" of judging is a heavy one - I'm glad to be rid of it.
Jesus said "you who have not sinned cast the first stone" - there are a lot of things in the bible that are a sin, but who of us hasn't committed one of them? The responsibility of judgment rests with Jesus - when we try to take it on it burdens us.
I think that perhaps even if you do not believe in Jesus or the Bible you might agree with the statement that it is easier to love than to judge.
Your thoughts??
it's been a while since i have posted here, but i still try to read a thread or two when i have time.. question: does anybody have dreams/nightmares about being a dub?
over the course of the past couple of months, i have had some really realistic dreams about my younger days as a dub.
usually they involve me in a heated argument with my parents about going door-to-door.
I don't know if having to discuss it, and explain it all to somebody would actually help.
You might be suprised exactly how much that WOULD help - once you say it out loud and try to "explain" the "why" to a non-biased observer you begin to get a totally different view of it all. A much healthier view. We as humans tend to internalize a lot - I would recommend talking to someone about it.
i am back from underground ... i have more to tell you than you can imagine ...
i cannot use my old screen handle for now, but we are working on that, and it will be restored as soon as simon and i can get it done.
so, simon has allowed me to create a new screen name for the time being.
Terrific! Glad to have you back Jim.
