So let's run down the core doctrines that could shake the rank and file:
1914 (JWs have been saying "it doesn't matter" so only older ones would have a harder time with this)
144,000 (literal or figurative, I think most would just say, so THAT's why there have been more partakers)
Heavenly and earthly destinites (seriously doubt they would EVER touch this one)
Generation (everyone's head is spinning from the last change so how would it be any different?)
Dumping the Blood doctine or making it a conscience matter (would be HUGE, but think more lawsuits if this happened)
Door to door (I don't see that they would dump this altogether, but who knows)

Marriage
by Kool Jo inso i was just thinking...since many of us became aware of the real truth about the wtbs, many have also questioned the existence of a god, the truthfulness of the bible/holy books and the many practices associated with religion/christianity.... .
some have started to celebrate birthdays, christmas ect after leaving the borg...for those out there, i have a question regarding marriage:.
1. do you still think that marriage is important?

My marriage, while going through some real trying times, has gotten stronger since leaving. When you don't have someone FORCING you to stay together but you WANT to stay together it's so much stronger. And something to be said for leaving religious beliefs behind and staying comitted and in love just seems to make the bond more concrete.

WT Society Feels they are Above the Laws of the Land - Even in their own....

knowing that the candace conti child abuse case was probably coming down the turnpike as was the 5 out of court child abuse settlements the wt society settled in san diego, california - this past april as most of you know the wt society sent a secret letter instructing all elders to essentially keep their " pie-holes " shut ( mouths for those not hip to modern lingo ) and essentially instructed them to not divulge anything to any authorities investigating crimes or other information concerning wt organization operations.. someone posted a thread on this in april, however - with all the news coming out about wt child abuse coverups, the anonymous organization investigating the wt society , i felt it important to reveal some snippets of what the wt society instructed their elders regarding legal issues.
in one section it states, " when someone seeks confidential information : you should never reveal confidential information to anyone unless theocratic procedure requires it or the branch office has instructed you to do so.

I agree the WT is reprehensible. But I would not let ANY law enforcement officer search my property without a search warrant(unless they barge in claiming probable cause but that’s for the lawyer to argue later, and possibly filing a civil lawsuit). You are within your rights to prevent unreasonable search and seizure. I would advise ANYONE not to allow a search of one’s property without a search warrant, so that part I have no problem with. I was just saying that this part should be standard practice. And even under a criminal investigation you shouldn’t say ANYTHING to anyone without a lawyer. Watch this video to get a law professor’s take on why you should NEVER speak to the police.

To be fair...
They are correct that often authorities will ask for information they AREN'T entitled to and some people or organisations will comply. Even if they aren't LEGALLY required to do so. So as far as not handling over confidential information they are correct that the branch and legal should be consulted first.
I've seen police officers show up and say to someone "you HAVE to do this or we do THIS". Sometimes it's just empty threats and posturing hoping that someone will comply. However often when someone says, hey, NO I don't have to do this they back down. Unless there is a warrant, it's probably an empty threat or a fishing expedition.
