  i believe that i am experiencing a profound change in my personality, and those changes are at a stage where i have honestly contemplated this recently.

  honestly.. i don't think i could ever do it - anyone who has followed me on the boards here know that i am neither suicidal nor an apologist for that lot.

  yet, having been off work for a few weeks now with surgical recovery, i have had time to make assessment of my future.

  get this though, a df "brother" called the house today looking for me, he told my mom that he wanted to talk to me about something he heard last week, she told him i'm at work today and he wanted my work number which my mother refused to give to him.

  I like these reminders. Since I have zero interest in reading the propoganda, I always wonder where the organization stands these days. Sometimes I actually naively think to myself, they couldn't possibly be the same way they were when I was growing up, surely they have evolved somewhat--somewhat! LOL! gardening in suits...yep, same ole' same ole.

  But hey, if it makes some souls happy to be told how to dress for gardening, bike riding, etc. they can have it.

  The Wedding.............

  as some of you know i am a wedding florist(side job) - just a few pictures of what i do.

  this is what i have been doing for the past couple months(planning part).

  this wedding took me a little over 35 hours to complete.

  I get ya CHL. While I personally would rather explore how far we've all come and revel in the successes and opportunities we now have instead of what we've lost and can never reclaim, I still have my hot buttons that I go absolutely nuts over (child abuse apologists). All my "Love and Light" seem to evaporate and my redhead comes out with all the pain and toxins. healthy? not sure. It's all part of the process, I suppose. Also, this is the first stopping place for many on their journey out so I think it's good to give venues to talk about the fresh wounds, bleed out the toxins a bit.

  i never posted a big to do about it, but myself and my girlfriend of quite a while ended our relationship rather abruptly not too long ago.

  it sucked, but luckily it wasn't really ugly or anything.. .

  anywho, ole richierich is back in the dating game.. .

  Try this method from a very very good friend of mine:

  Get a piece of paper and pen. Sit down and write out all the things you want in a partner. Don't be afraid to put anything down even if you think it's shallow (beautiful, thoughtful, maternal...) really think about who you want to share these things inside of you with.

  keep it. You've set up the channel.

  My "friend" showed me his not too long ago and lo and behold, it was me he was describing on that paper.
