let me explain: i spent some time with some catholics who are very loyal to their church.
nevertheless, they openly agree that priests.

In other respects, No.
I will explain. Insofar as a mathematical approach to doctrine, the WTS is on-track. Dogmatic and unbending. However, they also "spin" for personal leverage, so are not strictly mathematical in their philosophy. They are opportunists.

so i just got back from the convention - yes, feel pity on me... i had to attend all three days, spend money on a crappy hotel, sleep in a crappy town, sit on my ass for 8 hours a day, and all just to hear about the same old crap you can read in any watchtower.
i didn't take notes because not only would my head have exploded from the sheer boredom and stupidity, but i would be responsible for all your heads exploding as well.
are there any highlights?
Heh, one thing in particular that gave me the giggles, was to go in the bathroom stall, and when something particulary rousing was said by the speaker and came through the speakers above the stalls, I would say "praise Jehoover!" in a old man's voice. I thought I heard some guffaws a couple of times.You are cracking me up! I love it! Thank you so much for doing this..........so I didn't have to.........
Seriously, sometimes I think I'd like to be a witness again for about 12 minutes to jerk a few chains........then I think, NAHHHH...........23 years was enough.........
Actually, it takes us all, one at a time, to change the WTS' 'light' for real illumination.

i'm curious if anyone has written a letter (not a disassociation letter) that simply told their friends and loved ones that you don't really believe a lot of it anymore and blah, blah, blah.. or is it better to shut up and just never show up again.. problem is my wife says if i want to leave that i have to fess up and tell people.

I go to meetings because I feel that some at the hall have been very generous to us and I owe it to them. Plus, it has become a way of life even if I don't enjoy it like I once did - I wouldn't know what to do with myself otherwise. Plus there are family member to please, of course - although that is not as big an issue as it is with some people since only a few family members are Witnesses.I for one don't have much faith.

Grissom is a "sniper" - perhaps feels that if he/she lobs a hand-grenade into JWD and then runs away, then he/she is not really "associating" with apostates.
Problem is - the hand-grenades are of extremely low quality, and not persuasive, and not based on intellectual reasoning, just childishly pissy.
