A facelift and blephorplasty (eyes) 4 years ago is the very, very best $10,000 I have ever spent. Been grateful ever since that I did not put it off. I also exercise, eat healthy, keep weight under control, drink lotsa water and try to dress cute.

God's "Spirit Directed Organization"???
by integ injust got back from the district assembly and during the baptism talk the speaker made this statement: "...in association with god's spirit directed organization?".
now, correct me if i'm wrong, but didn't jr brown (the societies media spokesman) say during an interview that the witnesses do not consider themselves to be "spirit directed"?.
before i get all mad and outraged about this, would someone either confirm or refute the fact that "brother" brown made this statement?.

Personally, I get "spirit-directed" when I've had a few shots of tequila. (Or a martini.)

designed to perpetuate a system that god has condemned as a failure.

"You're the reason Armageddon isn't coming yet. You're keeping the world from being bad enough that Jehovah will destroy it."
Gary,
Please try to use that awesome power of yours for good rather than evil, will ya?
(Apparently the intelligence gene in the Buss family is fairly random.) (And I mean that in a good way.)

p'keet: Your worthless posts are crowding out important topics regarding JW pedophiles and WTS lies, which deserve more attention than your pathetic, grotesque attempts at humor.
Tell us how you really feel about EB.....................lol!

September KM - 70 alterations in Revelation Climax Book
by dozy ini can't find a thread on this subject yet - if there is one , please delete this one.. the september kingdom ministry has a 4 page insert detailing the 70 alterations in the revelation climax book which is due to be studied at the book study shortly.
i'll provide scans if anyone is interested.. i will leave it up to more experienced analysts to examine the reasons for specific changes , but just a few brief observations for now:.
p32 box - "they were completely exonerated" changed to "charges against them were dropped" - interesting change of terminology for the 1918 watchtower eight.

jgnat: Wouldn't the very existence of a four page insert of changes be a red flag for a discerning Witness?
Shhhhh! You'll wake them up.......................z z z z z z z z.............

Society letter read to all congregations July 28,2006 !!
by headmath ini got news of this from the jw grape vine today that at the meeting on thursday(yesterday) there was a letter read to all the congregations from the society.
for the first time the society says in the letter to prepare for great tribulation and to have plenty of emergency supplies in case of a disaster.
this has shaken the up the jws it seems.

Either this is not the same poster (and I suspect that is the case. The grammar and word structure is very different from her earlier posts and a pm to me) or she is on drugs and wigging out as we speak or she is schizo
anewme: I am sorry to say, I have to agree. Sorry because EB cannot defend herself - she is unable to post for several more hours due to a short leash she is on (20 posts per day only.)
Notice the avatar: two people, one in the foreground and a smaller image in the background. I think Sigmund would nail this one in a NY minute.
