  Snowbird,

  I've got to see this one. Denzel Washington is one of my favorite actors. His movies are always great because he's picky about what he does. Kimberly Elise is great also. This one sounds like a real winner.

  Just finished C of C last night

  it took me a while to get thru this book and some of the print was really unclear to make out.

  what struck me was the absolute mean spiritedness of the borg toward these brothers who gave their whole lives to the borg.

  it also reinforces my experience that once they "make a decision" they will not be disuaded by biblical facts.

  Yeah I've got to read In Search of Christian Freedom. CoC impacted my life in a positive way when I was terribly adrift. The love I felt for this man while reading that book was something I had been looking for. It was just plain old human to human compassion. Yeah, I went through every emotion imaginable while reading it. I read it in two days, couldn't put it down. It was almost like a history lesson. I was actually there with him. The JW's lost their compassion when they df'd Ray. Well, the Judge had NO COMPASSION.

  Tithe - giving 10% to the church

  this subject came up at work and has got me thinking, is this really a requirement that god enforces?

  a lot of churches say it is a mandate of the bible?

  does it make a difference to your spirituality if you give or not?

  The Mosaic law required 10%. The NT emphasizes helping those in need if we have the means. Personally, I would rather help an individual or family in need than give money to a church.

  our unranked razorbacks went down to baton rouge and ended up winning 50-48 in the third overtime.

  those lsu tigers were ranked no.

  McFadden needs a trophy. That being said.

  Root for LSU. SEC is the toughest conference in the NCAA. If they split us all up, the rest wouldn't stand a snowballs chance.

  Just look at Georgia, LSU, Arkansas, even Auburn (dammit). Let one of the ranked teams play those 4 and see who is crying.

  Just a football fan who hates to see the season end with my team sucking mud.

  so is this witness mother of my son a glutton for punishment or what ?

  to avoid boring you all ( as if this isn't getting a bit redundant already ) i have edited bits and pieces of the best parts of her first e-mail , and his return e-mail, and her last e-mail after his reply so you can see what went down in conversation .

  Naw, I'm more into Resident Evil. They just take YEARS to put out a new one. I've beaten RE4 about 50 times and all the extras too.
