It helps me alot. You guys should see me cracking up sometimes when one of you gets on a "roll". You gotta laugh to keep from crying sometimes, I guess.

Remember them making such a big deal about that?? There was a district convention when I was around 15/16. A talk called "Beware of Music that Debases" It knocked all my favorite artists off my playlist------NOT.

They were really picking on the Stones. If they would just listen to the song "Sympathy for the Devil" it doesn't promote devil worship in my mind. I think they just saw the title and freaked.

Led Zep was considered the Antichrist--I guess. Backwards masking. What a blast from the past!

I know I'm slow, but help me out on this new 144k thing-ie

ok, so the may 1st wt says that elders aren't to question anyone who partakes.

but many of you have posted that they are about to rule change about the 144k... haven't they already changed the dogma if elders can't question... doesn't that mean anyone can partake?

so what changes are going to occur that are more shocking then the generation of 1935 thing and whatnot?.

I believe we are supposed to partake as long as we believe Christ died for us and it we want to follow Him. I also think that having only the "annointed" partake shuts up the kingdom of the heavens. Really who says they are "annointed". No one really knows. Having trouble finding the research. It's on the computer with a bad power supply and I can't remember where it was posted online.

I've seen the scripture in James somewhere else in the bible I think. I guess I'm handicapped because I haven't read my bible since hitting a wall about a year ago.

As far as scriptural evidence the Witnesses would use to keep everyone from partaking.......your guess is as good and mine. But I figure such "evidence" is non-existant.
