I haven't seen any carts. I've ran into a JW at the convention. It was in a sports complex where we play hockey and skate. We were in another part for skating, and they came into the recreation part to buy coffee. I struck up a conversation wtih them, and told them I was a JW, left, and the reasons why. They were happy, then speechless. Another JW & I struck up a conversation. He used to be a hockey goalie. But, hadn't done it since becoming a JW. I said JWs are in sports, look at the William's sisters. I played JW dumb, and encouraged him to try hockey on the rec league that meets on Sunday evenings, goalies play free becuase they are in demand.

What? A "helper" is like another person who is a secretary, butler, maid, etc. They are "Members" of the "Governing Body". Someone knew to make it look like Oz is still hiding behind his curtain. Becuase if the rank & file figure out that these guys are the bafoons running the show, Oz is going to fall.

Woe to the Women of the Watchtower

JWs were expecting this Zone Meeting to be an earthshaking event. it was the first time the Governing Body, who sits with Jesus's hand, to speak. It was a chance to address the needs of women & children. Jesus spoke of bringing children to Him, of not ridiculing the prostitute, healing women with ailments. By all accounts, Jesus adored women and children. Was there a message to the struggling JW woman?
JW women are asked alot by their religion:
- Pressures to go against natural instinct by not marrying, but pioneering.
- Pressures to go against natural instinct and refrain from having children.
- If they do get married, their husbands can beat them. If they complain, the elders will tell them to be patient with Jehovah (while they get the crap beat out of them) and have more sex with their abuser.
-If they have children and their children are molested in the Kingdumb Hall, they are not supposed to go to the police nor speak ill against the pedophile.
-They are at much more risk to dying from blood loss (hysterectomy, child birth).
-They have to ignore their maternal instinct and fight against blood transfusions for their children, despite the policy being based on misquotes, fraud, flip-flops, and complete allowance of blood (just not by that name).
-They have to be great housekeepers, children raisers, make meetings & assemblies, and are expected to pioneer.
-Their children are being expected to get baptised younger & younger, with full knowledge that the mom will probably have to shun them at some point during their teenage/young adult years.

Was any of their plight or hard work or outright manipulation of their natural instincts and fears addressed? Nope.
Instead, NO YOGA PANTS and NO SPANX and MARRY A BROTHER WHO IS AT LEAST AN MS BY 23 YEARS OLD.
This is going to send the women running. The marraige pool just shrunk. The most comfortable casual pants are no longer allowed. Worse, undergarments that make them look good at the Kingdumb Hall are now not allowed. And, Jesus's Right Hand man said so. It's obvious that he misconstrued what Spanx are verses Yoga Pants. The GB is just men, who don't understand women. . . . . How different is that from Jesus.

Didn't he speak wildly against Spanx. I bet every JW woman was shaking her head. Spanx are not outer layers, they are UNDERWEAR & Girdles that sucks a chick's fat in to make a smoother appearance. I bet every JW woman over 25 years old has Spanx in her closet. All that dress wearing, and one needs Spanx, I am told. Spanx are no different than control top pantyhose. The women are really getting an eye-opener that Jehovah's most faithfully picked Governing Body don't know shit.

Yoga pants are great. Nothing wrong with them. They cover up, make great outer or under garments. Add a t-shirt and heels or wear them with flip-flops. Versitile, and always fits. In the gym, you can bend over in them without risk of shorts showing more than you want. Yoga pants make great casual or workout wear. You can ride a bike in them, without fear of getting caught in the chain. You can skate with them, without fear of the blade getting caught in the pant. Many "jeans" are now just "Jeggings", a super stretchy denim cut like a Yoga Pant with belt loops.
The Governing Body is Booty obsessed. They're all about covering up that bass. They're all about that bass, about that bass, about that bass . . .

by berrygerry inthe only video that i've found of tomo is 39:00 minutes long - the ending is missing.. various posts mentioned highlights of the tremendous witness in august, with a 900% increase in ap's, as well as some other magnificent accomplishment that i cannot locate.. then i painfully listened to the video to verify, and at about 38:00, tomo bemoans the downward trend in bible studies.. the best august of all-time, yet downward trend.. looks like the toilet bowl is swirling.. .

Many JWs are too old to have kids now, were not encouraged to have kids when they were younger, and the kids they bore left. The End was supposed to come already, and a decreasing population of JWs wasn't supposed to happen. But, reality sucks. Now, there is a decrease in Bible studies.
