SUICIDE IN KH PARKING LOT
by Sabine inlast saturday, a former ministerial servant and pioneer committed suicide in the woodinville washington kingdom hall parking lot.
he was disfellowshipped several years ago, and according to the old sister that related the story to me today, he was depressed because no one would talk to him.
i don't know how i kept calm when she explained to me that "we couldn't talk to him...he was disfellowshipped.".

just my opinion, ...... but those same type of men are in charge of various religions today, including kingdom halls.... the only difference is..... they are forced to go by secular laws now......... what do you think the gov body and their elders would be like, if they didn't have to obey any governmental laws?........ my guess is that they would be torturing members, and stoning them to death......

by DanTheMan insometimes i wonder if the legalism and the authoritarianism in the wt have a purpose that i intuitively understood at first, and that somehow i've become blinded of the necessity of those things.. two things keep entering my mind - .
1. jesus likened his followers to sheep, and;.
2. the israelites got tired of the manna.. in leaving the wt, am i like the israelites who complained about the "contemptible bread"?

you are right nathan....... i do know however, how the "organization works",,,,,,, and what kind of "fruits" it produces because of that....... i almost committed suicide myself........ the P.O. in my last congregation was a real doozey..... he was devouring the whole congregation,(literally).........he was a pioneer elder..........and had connections to the big boys in brooklyn...... he was unstoppable........ he was so harsh, he had to give talk after talk about being submissive to the lead, and stop murmuring..........meanwhile, he was involved in some serious scams..........but he got everyone to shut up.... lots of people queitly changed congregations....... especially elders.....
