sometimes i wonder if the legalism and the authoritarianism in the wt have a purpose that i intuitively understood at first, and that somehow i've become blinded of the necessity of those things.. two things keep entering my mind - .
1. jesus likened his followers to sheep, and;.
2. the israelites got tired of the manna.. in leaving the wt, am i like the israelites who complained about the "contemptible bread"?

last saturday, a former ministerial servant and pioneer committed suicide in the woodinville washington kingdom hall parking lot.
he was disfellowshipped several years ago, and according to the old sister that related the story to me today, he was depressed because no one would talk to him.
i don't know how i kept calm when she explained to me that "we couldn't talk to him...he was disfellowshipped.".

you are right nathan....... i do know however, how the "organization works",,,,,,, and what kind of "fruits" it produces because of that....... i almost committed suicide myself........ the P.O. in my last congregation was a real doozey..... he was devouring the whole congregation,(literally).........he was a pioneer elder..........and had connections to the big boys in brooklyn...... he was unstoppable........ he was so harsh, he had to give talk after talk about being submissive to the lead, and stop murmuring..........meanwhile, he was involved in some serious scams..........but he got everyone to shut up.... lots of people queitly changed congregations....... especially elders.....
so just for grins i thought that i would try to take a peek at jwzone and pln (pure language network, it took the place of greatcrowd.net), two dub forums.
i thought i would a friendly ambassador from jwd.

i sure hope their local police dept investigates this young man's suicide..........of course,... jw elders are so slick at making it look like it wasn't their fault, with their suits and ties on, and bibles in their hands.........i can hear them now,......we did everything we could for this young man......... but he wouldn't listen...
i'll bet there is a few people in that congregation that know what really happened, ......but they are reminded to keep their mouth shut, be submissive to the elders, or they will be publicly reproved............isn't that obstruction of justice or something?......... i'll bet the police don't even find out what really happened.......... i wish i was a lawyer......

just thought i would inform this board that just a few minutes ago there was an airing on rtlz tv here in the netherlands.about the catholic church and the pedofile matter.. wouldn't it be a good thing if the watchtower would be exposed the same way?
and why shouldn't it be exposed.
they're just as bad if not worse.. .
jws are just as bad or worse,.... in my opinion, worse........... but they are a smaller group.
the catholic church has a lot of victims coming forward right now.........suing for damages....that's why the religion is making changes.

dear gov body, ........don't you think it would be a really 'loving provision from jehovah', if another 'example' like "erika" stepped forward,... for another "special" on tv?

hi sabine, ............ the reason that kid "did it" in a "kingdom hall parking lot", was cause he wanted to get their attention.........he needed the attention of the people he loved, but instead they disfellowshipped him, and mocked him..........and probably didn't believe him about something, or whatever.......the po was in charge, he was in on it.
i sure hope someone takes alot of money away from this organization soon!......with court cases, and publicity........ i think that would help the problem alot.
now watch them slander him publicly........"he wasn't a jw".....he was "disfellowshipped"..........he did "this"...he did "that".....he was not in "good standing"......... just like judas,,,,,,he killed himself.........
