I liked the elders in my cong. although not when they were at my house telling me not to hang out with my "worldy" friends/boyfriend, they are nice individuals, until of course I da'd and now the ones I see act like they don't see me

JW's conflict

i know a couple of jw's who are also ip's (internet providers), these so called men of high faith allow the worst form of content, including bestiality, and who knows what else to come thru their servers.

wouldn't this be a conflict with their faith and their stance on being "no part of the world", or just another "consience" decision they have to make?

and if it is a "concience" decision, shouldn't all jw's be allowed to make these decisions for themselves such as the blood issue or military service without retaliation from the boe or their fellow r&f jw's?

What Bible Characters Fascinated You?

i grew up like alot of you on my book of bible stories with all the beautiful illustrations .

thinking back the characters that i was most fascinated with were those like jezebel, delilah, queen vashti etc.

being a young teenage girl, to me they seemed way more interesting.

what would happen if the kh he formerly belonged to started getting calls about the appalling behavior of his treatment by his mother?

no names would even have to be used, i would think they would know who it was about.

calls from all over the states and if any called from other countries.

imagine starting a topic and hardly anyone replies.

and you have to keep bumping yourself to the top because of either your ego or passion for the topic.. unc did a number on this a couple of days ago but it was too subtle.

yesterday after school i had to go work on a project with friends.

mom said be home by 5, but there was a huge accident a mile from where i live, and i sat on the road for like 10 - 12 minutes, and was 5 minutes late getting home.

mom was there (didn't go to work- guess why) and she was pissed.

two words, Direct Deposit, she can't get your money if you don't need to cash a check, makes me so mad to read what shes doing to you all because of a stupid cult, all the best, and hey living on your own is fun I did it at 17 and I had a blast!

Depression

okay, so this isn't long-term (i hope) horrible depression, just....a bad couple of days.

i'm taking suggestions on how to pull out of it.

ideas?
