I downloaded it but the audio was hard to understand. Perhaps I did something wrong? Does anyone else have the audio to share?

I remember when he "served" our congregation in Payette, Idaho about 1976. He actually was our District Overseer and we were excited to have such attention in such a small congregation. I remember working out in field service with him (I took the day off work to do it.) I remember him being very friendly and quite a contrast with some of the circuit and district overseers who were very serious. Emshoff was a card and, as I recall, single. I liked the guy.

Another Christ's Invisible Presence Question ? (1930 -1942)
by The_Replacement inokay, we all know christ's invisible presence began in 1874, then changed to 1914 (in 1943).
now, the last mention of christ's invisible presence being 1874, seems to be 1929/1930 , prophecy book, our lord's return booklet.. my question is .......... is christ's invisible presence mentioned in any publication from 1930 - 1942, or did it completely drop out of sight during this time frame ???????
until it was re-introduced in the truth shall set you free book in 1943.. .

Christ's Second Presence was transferred to 1914 in the 30s.
Check out this file:

It has a wealth of documentation on JW chronology.

All I can find are listings of it in German, French and Polish. Since it was an authorized publication of the WT Society in 1938 (?) I thought it would be an interesting title to collect. (It details the Nazi persecution of the JWs and was written for public distribution.) I'm wondering if the English printing was VERY small...perhaps for a few WT leaders? Does anyone else know of an English version of this book?

Some of those titles are listed here:

but most are not. I'm assuming the rest may not be in print?

My parents are deaf too. Do you know how much of the NWT is available?
As much as I disagree with the theology of the Organization I have to say I am impressed with the quality of the DVDs I've seen. I'd be very interested in collecting whatever of the NWT in ASL is available but I don't have access to a local congregation to get them.

For History Buffs--Photo Drama of Creation Sequence?
by cabasilas ini just obtained a cd of movies and slides of the photo-drama of creation.
it has movies of russell talking and some movies of bible themes.
then there's a narrated slide presentation that appears to match the text of the photo drama book.

Thanks for the links. I'd been to a couple of those before but the one from AGS Consulting led to:
http://www.agsconsulting.com/pdoc/menu.htm
I think these files will help me piece together the sequence for this CD. I'm glad I have the CD as the downloads for the media files from that site take FOREVER to download!

I believe it was shown in sections with short intermissions while musical interludes played. (On this CD there are several sections of hymns which I'm guessing played while they changed trays of slides?) To be honest, it seems like an impressive undertaking considering it was done in 1914. There are over 600 slides...most in color. Not exactly what we'd consider special effects these days but I bet for the time it was quite an event.
Of course, there are places where Russell's theology is very transparent. Like 7,000 years for each day or "epoch."
I'm curious as to details as to how the presentation was made to the public if anyone is familiar with this.
