While in college, I hated taking Statistics! If it weren't for SAS (computer stats program), I wouldn't have made it!

Hope her paper goes super well! So nice to see a career girl....you gotta be proud of her I'm sure.

I am proud of her for going back to college. She gave me the blues about school when she was younger. On the otherhand, one of the twins graduated from a two year college. She will be an interpreter for Spanish and Sign Language. She said that companies are calling her for interviews without her applying to the company/s for a job. She did pretty good to be a Jehovah's Witness. My youngest graduated from high school. We thought that she was going to get an "F" in Physics; but she got a "C"! Whoohoo! The other classes two "A's" and three "B's".

Like I said in a previous post: Stick a fork in me! I'm done!

Thanks for sharing MsMcducket, so how is she feeling about the whole ordeal? what an experience for her.

She didn't like it at all. They had a open toilet and shower; and she was around a lot of people that were "tweaking" for drugs. She thought that it was awful that the first thing that many of them wanted to do when they got of jail was to get high; that they didn't care about seeing or being with their children.

She's in her psych rotation for Nursing and she needed to turn in a paper on drug addiction. She said she'd be able to give them a firsthand account without needing any extra studying! How's that for synchronicity!

My mother used to have "premonitions" when one of her children were about to get into some trouble or if one of her daughters were pregnant. I never figured out how that worked. But I did have what I thought was a "premonition".... A couple of weeks ago, I'd awake in a panic after dreaming (two nights in a row) that one of my children was in trouble and I was fighting to try to save her/them; but there was nothing I could do. Well, my oldest and her boyfriend get to arguing;so she calls me; and I call the police. She ends up having to spend ten days in jail with no bail. She had a unpaid traffic ticket and a bench warrant for failure to appear. She gets this judge that doesn't care if she's in college or that she has a young child...

I couldn't do anything to get her out. I did take care of her son. I thought that the whole thing was strange!

k, just for fun,.... i was watching the movie prophecy the other day and viggo mortenson's portrayal of lucifer was rather good imo.

i thought of another movie i saw, constantine where peter stormare played the same part, somewhat differently of course but a well done portrayal nonetheless.
