by BurnTheShips inaccording to friday's bls report (table a-1, household data), the u.s. economy has lost 4.464 million jobs since dec. 2007. further analysis shows that 78% of the job losses (3.483 million) were jobs held by males, and 22% of the jobs lost (981,000) were jobs held by females (see top chart above).
of the 351,000 decline in february employment (household data), 90% of the job losses were male jobs (315,000), compared to a 37,000 job loss for females (10% of total).. .
further, the february unemployment rate for men was 8.8% vs. 7.3% for women, as the 1.5% male-female gap narrowed just slightly from the all-time historical record male-female jobless rate gap of 1.6% in january.

Of course this entire point becomes moot the moment you stop caring whether or not they DF you. Once you realize that there is a life outside the organization, and that you can make new friends and adopt new families, the WTBTS loses any power it once held.

Now Some Witnesses Are Buying Backpacks To Get Ready For The Great Tribulation!
by minimus insome witnesses are making sure they're ready for the great day.
i've heard certain family members are getting supplies ready including 5 gallons of water, cans of food that can be opened without a can opener, and other "survival" stuff.
they have figured that since the awake (i think) reported how the "friends" got ready for hurricane katrina, they too must be ready for survival when the storm of armageddon rains down.. what will they think of next?.

I just got back into town from a weekend backpacking trip, what a great time! As I was walking through the woods with 50 pounds on my back, I thought of this thread and how ludicrous it is to think about the average JW being able to walk more than 100 feet with any amount of survival gear strapped to their back.
These people are FAT! They eat donuts and McDonalds every chance they get.

Anyone see the South Park episode where they joined a cult?

it's from 2001. the boys get sucked into the suicidal cult of magician david blaine.
there were so many moments that reminded me of jws.

You're right this is total bullshit! If Democrats want to lecture Republicans on political ethics, they need to pay their frickin taxes. It's so f-ing stupid for these guys to give Republicans easy fodder.
However, I would like to ask this.......What's worse making an honest tax mistake regarding speaking fees or wages paid to a limo driver, or deliberately setting up off shore tax shelters in the Caribbean and hiding millions/billions in Swiss bank accounts? Republicans whining about Dems. not paying taxes is a bit disingenuous.
