  i'm a bit confused.

  i saw in cognac's thread that she used this scripture regarding something having to do with fornication.

  i haven't been keeping up.

  call me retrofitted and programmed but I dont see it

  "If anyone thinks he is acting improperly toward the virgin he is engaged to, and if she is getting along in years and he feels he ought to marry, he should do as he wants. He is not sinning. They should get married."

  The bit where he says "he is not sinning" I would think would apply to "feels he ought to marry". I have no idea what the "thinks he is acting improperly" part is. But if she is still a virgin, I'd say they haven't had sex yet.

  Help me out here.

  Who did you/do you want to be when you grew up?

  when i was 9 i wanted to be daisy duke from the dukes of hazzard, but had to put aside the dream when i realised my legs weren't going to ever get any longer.. when i was 12 i wanted to be ghandi, but realised wars wouldnt stop because i missed breakfast.. when i was 16 i decided that by leaving the borg and living fast and hard enough being alice cooper was achievable.. now i'm 32 i think i'd quite like to have the sensuous, striking confidence and certainty of helen mirren when i grow up.. who did you want to be and why?.

  I want to be a better version of me. For the first time in a long time I like myself and the only things I have to prove are to me. So who will I be? I'll be me, wiser, more stable, more emotionally available and more financially free.

  i guess it's about time i write my story.

  i've put this off for a long time... primarily becuase, while i thought my story was bad, i've read so many worse and heart-rending stories here.

  i think, though, there is some therapeutic value in 'letting it all out' with others who know what 'it' was like.

  i haven't posted much in a while because i've been in deep thought about some recent events and trying to sort them all out.

  i think you guys all know me well enough to know if i'm just freakin nuts or not...so assuming you all think i am sane...does this sound crazy to anyone else?.

  when i got here, people kept telling me that if you come here, walk here, and are supposed to be living here, you will do so within a month of touching the ground.

  I think we have shared enough that you'll understand what I'm going to say. I think there are few times in our lives when we realize our potential to effect and affect what is around us. I think of these moments as being 'godlike'. The moments are like dreams where we realize that we are dreaming and then change our landscape around us. Unfortunately like dreams we wake up and the world changes. I think though that the reality is sustainable as long as we dont allow our internal doubts or external negativity to burst the bubble. We watch what we take in and allow to control our subconcious and then its okay.

  I wanted to test it out by spilling my beer and cleaning it up, but she said no.

  Once in a bar we did use a maxi pad to clean up the beer we spilled...it worked great....just sayin'

  Sad that this comment makes me want to visit Minesoda again. you aint never partied till you party with the albinos

  i find that if i give my fears to much power i become totally useless and am incapable of accomplishing anything. i try to put the fears aside because then all those rules and limits they kept slamming us with in that cult........... it all goes away ... if only for a while and i find i can accomplish so much more than i ever dared to dream before. all built upon successes i accomplished one by one
