  jehovah's witnesses have had to revise their chronology and various doctrinal interpretations due to events and scholarly corrections.

  but the one teaching where they have been consistently ahead of the curve is the importance of jehovah's name.. .

  i'm going to run through a (necessarily selective) timeline of jw events and scholarly publications that demonstrate the phenomenal success of this teaching in the last days.

  However, I suppose it may all come down to the Witness elder's interrogation question when they're deciding whether to disfellowship you.

  Do you, SlimBoyFat, believe that Sam, Geoff, Mark, Gerrit, Anthony, Mark and Dave are God's/Yahweh's/Jehovah's

  sole appointed channel of communication on this planet?

  If you do, then it doesn't really matter what God's 'name' is. Surely. Salvation will only come for you by being part of the religious organization which those men lead.

  Yahweh/Jehovah------------''Because I was only using one organization. To receive everlasting life in the earthly Paradise you had to identify that organization and serve me as part of it. The rest was bollocks. I just wanted obedience.''

  i was a window cleaner, i was at the time unemployed, homeless.

  i had no education to be proud of (high school one a two b's rest c's) i was a jehovahs witness.

  i had been a pioneer.

  this guy has to have the most courage of anyone i've ever seen or balls the size of basketballs.he actually gives a good talk and has tidbits scattered about throughout his public talk with hints,suggestions,innuendos of the wt organization.i never want to go in another kingdom hall again in my life but would have made an exception just to be in this audience.

  Animals, Blood, Food, and JW Beliefs

  i'm just thinking aloud here.

  i watched a show yesterday and they were talking about how the largest mammals of the sea (whales) fed on such small creatures (plankton) rather than eating some other large creatures.

  anyway, it got me thinking about how as jws we thought that in paradise animals would all be herbivores, that they would no longer eat other animals.

  Just remember that up until the year 2370 BC ( just under four and a half thousand years ago) all animal life was, and always had been, herbivorous.

  It was only after the Flood that Big J recreated the whole damn ecosystem to allow for meat eating.

  As regards shunning.

  Yes, I shun Jehovahs' Witnesses in general as I want nothing to do with them. I would go out of my way to avoid them.

  only a few days ago i was walking around the house in a mindless wander thinking if i needed to seek professional help.

  then i got the courage to seek the comfort of complete strangers on the internet and found a world of support here on this website.

  hello and thanks to everyone for participating on this forum it has really been of much value, for those of you that post here know that your words are not lost you never know who is reading your expressions, lives are being changed and nonsense challenged.

  i’m not much of a writer so excuse my untrained writing style and grammar but i want to share my story to help anyone who is visiting here to see that we are real people, fathers, mothers, sons and daughters who have come here for answers, there is no agenda, just searching for truth.
