  i got old!.

  feeling old today for some reason and thought i'd rant.. wasn't supposed to happen to me!

  but then again, that's what my father, grand father and great grandfather thought!.

  the thread on hawaii today made me think of a question i've always had.. i've spent a lot of time in hawaii and i've always wondered how the cong deals with kids and tattoos.

  it's such a part of their culture i just don't see how they can frown on it that much.. anyone know?.

  olympic officials shocked to see the hockey players celebrating drinking beer and smoking cigars.. but canadians are even more surprised and shocked to see it wasn't molson!!!!.

  outlaw, shamus, poopsiecakes and others plan to protest if its true, "no molsons!!".

  How miserable are Witless Kids REALLY?

  25 years ago i lived in an apartment overlooking the grounds of the local high school.. at the time i still totally believed the lie.

  a lot of the dub students went to my hell.. i noticed looking out my window, that the witless kids always looked miserable and isolated.

  yet in the kingdumb hell they would behave almost euphorically.. what was going on?.

  I think a lot of people want to believe their JW upbringing was miserable.

  I had a great time growing up a JW. Kinda sucked at times being left out of some things but all my buddies stuck together.

  Only thing I hate and am bitter about was not being able to play or pursue sports or go to college. Reg. Pioneered dontcha know!

  Out of Left Field...Strange things you were told by elders

  just curious if the crazy was limited to my town or not.. i remember and elder, during a talk about everyone being resurrected that it included all the babies that had miscarried or were aborted, because the big j knew what their hearts were.

  after the meeting, he was telling a couple of us how it also disturbed him that his wife would have to carry someone elses babies and he would be raising someone elses children.. another elder said that we would colonize other planets, and that since the bible never said the big j didn't make other inhabited worlds that there was a whole universe of planets to colonize after armageddon.. anyone else hear crazy crap like this?.

  Strangest thing you were told by elders...

  "We appreciate your hard work for the congregation."

  Must have been really hard for them to say because it only happened once or twice in 30 years!
