I have a Jack Russell and Chihuahua mix. She's kinda big to be a mix of 'em both. (See picture, that's me and her :)) She was the runt of 12 puppies. Surprisingly, she is pretty calm most of the time. She's a good guard dog and tries to keep my son in line. LOL. When she goes outside she runs laps around the house which is where, I guess, she let's out that tiny dog energy. Other than that she could sleep for 22 hours. 1 hour for play, 1 for eating, and drinking. I never had a dog as smart as she is. My stories about her are quite unbelievable..LOL. My favorite is when she was about 2, I was watching the Discovery Channel, a documentary about wolves and dogs. She watched the entire show, I swear. And then she decided she was going to be the "Alpha" dog of the house. The two other dogs (not mine) really know she is the boss and she still lets them know it.

Move over Colonel, Bojangles is here
by Junction-Guy inwell for as long as i've lived here in knoxville, there has only been one chicken chain-kfc.
we had a church's/burger king combo, but church's eventually shut down.
even though my roots run deep in kentucky, i think kfc is lousy, and much too greasy.. .

Has anyone ever played with a ouija board?
by delilah inthis past weekend, we met a new couple in our campground, and the conversation soon came 'round to the supernatural.
the lady said she has had quite a few supernatural experiences, and that she plays her own home-made version of the ouija board.
my husband was all excited and begged her to play .

My best friend and I tried to play with one when I was about 15. It spelled out "loves god" and then said goodbye. Scared the crap out of me. My brother and his friends used to play with one when they were drunk and he'd piss off whatever "spirit" it was by asking stupid questions like "Do ruffles have ridges?"

Are Kingdom Spoons wooden? You know, the kind the "good" mothers brought with them to the meetings?

Whats your favourite "reward" to yourself for accomplishing something?
by Crumpet insometimes as an incentive to do something that requires hard work and will in the long term be beneficial to attend to i'll offer myself a reward.
yes maybe the accomplishment in itself should be the reward - but i need motivation!.
so do you give yourself a carrot for getting that long put off chore, for going to see someone who needs or wants to see you, for finishing a goal, for losing weight?

One of my favorite "rewards" is a nice steak dinner.

I just use a mild soap in a face washing cloth (the microfiber kind, very soft) and very warm water to remove eye makeup. I don't scrub, but instead I just hold the cloth to each eye for a few seconds. Usually everything comes off fine. It takes a lot of water.
