PSacramento - I agree wholeheartedly. Not that my agreement means anything, but I do. I always get a kick out of the big deal they make about the "a" in John 1:1. In [the] beginning the Word was, and the Word was with God, and the Word was a god. If as you say and I think it is accurate to do so, if Jesus was begotten what difference if it says Jesus or the Word was a god or god. Like you point out our child can be referred to as human or a human, means same thing.

yup, when I was looking at Blondie's review of the tower it got me looking at the whole David thing. I find it interesting how the insight book info says "Jehovah was watching, however, and uncovered the whole reprehensible matter. If Jehovah had permitted the case involving David and Bath-sheba to be handled by human judges under the Mosaic Law, both of the wrongdoers would have been put to death, and of course, the unborn offspring of their adultery would have died with the mother. " Is there any possible way someone could be disfellowshipped when this reasoning is followed.

Have your JW Relatives Explained about Generation/Overlap Change to You ?
by flipper inafter reading on the way out's thread about his mom explaining the generation overlap to him it kicked this idea into my head to make this thread .
i thought it would be helpful to see if anybody here has had jw relatives or friends try to explain this " generation overlap " theory to you as a faded or inactive witness and what happened in the conversations.
so please feel free to post your experiences.

A 4-year building project culminating in 2014.
