Come on. Sagan even alluded to it via mathematical probability. Do you think the ancients, whose cave drawings depict entities in "suits", were pulling ideas out of their ass? No one can explain many of the megaliths today, much less try and duplicate them with "ancient" tools/technology.

I want to see Apollo 18. I have read some great articles from former astronauts who have indicated that they saw spacecraft on the moon during the Apollo projects, and were told NOT to come back. Makes you wonder...

I believe that intellignet life does exist, far beyond our capabilities. Now do they come to help or harm? From a logical perspective they have acquired advanced knowledge which also means that their society addressed the issue of war, famine, etc. and would, for all intents and purposes, be peaceful. So I believe they would be peaceful and not war like as they would no doubt be considered a class 3 species (able to traverse the cosmos, and no war, etc.).

Tough Situation.

she just turned 91 and has been a faithful jw her entire life.
she has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and is battling pneumonia on top of that.. we were very close up until the point, a few years ago, when she asked me flat-out if i had any intention of coming back or if i even believed in god.

I agree Honesty. I have seen houses, cars, bank accounts all disappear - pretty much certain it went to elders, etc. Sad but true. I would also check her valuables in the house and make sure they are still around. I would also FLAT OUT ask the homeopathic person how much they are charging per session, how they are being paid, what amount have they been paid up-to-date, or what agreement was worked out after the treatment is completed.
Are your parents involved in this? What are their thougts?
Does she have a will? Have you seen it? Don't be suprised if your family members or even Dubs show up out of the blue saying your grandmother promised asset X, Y, and Z to them after she departs. Make sure some tyoe of paperwork exists, and if not, maybe talk to your parents (next of kin) to see how things are going to be handled.

On a side note, I knew a person who had a bad case of cancer. She decided to go down to a homeopathic specialist in another country, was kind of expensive, but the treatment went on for 6 months and she lived down there. By the time she got back she looked 100% better, and the doctors here could not believe that they could NOT find ANY trace of cancer in her body. That was 20 years ago, and she is still kicking today... with no cancer.

Lets be real irondork. First the Bible is BS, God is BS, and twisting what someone wrote eons ago to conform it to a certain idiology is haphazard at best. Timmy should just live his life and not cling onto "god" or the bible with some 21 century new definition of what the church has held fast against for hundreds of years (inception of Xianism). The fact is not all are welcome to the Xian game, so why push it? Like I said just live life, be spiritual, but forego religion and the holy books...
