  Champions League Football, Liverpool vs AC Milan

  im a liverpool fan and am currently beside myself with exitement.

  this is by far the biggest game we have played in 20 years and im getting so jittery i fear i may pass out.

  Wow. Im still reeling from that. Talk about emotional rollercoaster! People called me after the game and i just couldnt talk. I was all over the place. I never cried watching a football match until last night. What a game!

  Goalie dancing? Some of you will know this but when we last won the European Cup Bruce Grobelaar was our goalie and he danced like that in the penalty shootout, to put the penalty taker off. Our Keeper did it again, 20 years later and we did it again.

  I cant put how i feel into words at the mo, I still need to settle down!

  Well the lads played well, they stuck together and there was no fancy-dan's playing lollipop football. It was a game of two halves, with Arsenal content to play the deep ball whenever they could. Man U played a more fluent game early doors. But as the game drew on they simply didnt have enough in their locker. Van Nistleroy couldnt hit a barn door with a banjo and Ronaldo was like a fruit machine with no jackpot.

  Were you allowed to play sports?

  i was never allowed to play sports, because it would be too much association with worldly people.

  no skating, dance class, racquet ball, softball, nothing.

  in my kingdom hall, only the "spiritually weak" played sports.

  i was thinking last night about when the twin towers fell and i remembered thinking how close armageddon must be did anybody else think similar....i guess it would only apply to those who were still in the borg at the time es

  I was starting to fade at this point when I saw a brother street witnessing and decided to say 'hi'. He launched into a 'big one' about how significant it was. I dont believe for a minute it has any relevance to Armageddon tho. Just think that the 'organisation' likes to use things like that to make people fearful. It could be argued from a witness standpoint it is a 'sign of the times', but a bit foolish to make anything more of it.

  Its only a matter of time before he's playing for england then!!!!! I used to be good a football, but was never able to go too far with it being a Witness. I chose to get baptised when i was 16, and I turned down an offer from Peterborough United!!!
