I'm doing NaNoWriMo again this year.

unlike most nano's i'm going to try to finish a novel instead of starting it, but the basic goal - writing 50,000 words in 30 days - remains the same.

i have about half of a science fiction/military action novel i've been fooling around with for about a year.

i'm going to finish the thing and try hard to get something published.

Consider the "outcome" when elders apply the two-witness "rule"

jehovahs witnesses two-witness rule is applied by elders when a witness member accuses another member of a sin, even if that sin is a criminal act.

if there arent two witnesses to the accusation, it goes nowhere, including not being reported to the authorities.

and in the case of an allegation of child abuse, the accused is free to molest again.. watchtower attorney, jim mccabe, recently stated this about jehovahs witnesses two-witness rule which he described as a bible-based belief :.

the convention book released yesterday....say hi to group 2 of the 1914 generation!!

a graph shows group 1 being fred franz john barr etc...with a group 2 consisting of the current young faithful slaves we "met" the "group ones.

Trained to Exploit Emotionally Vulnerable People?

i don't post here much anymore, but i am working on a project with a few academics from my area who are in the psychology field.

we are looking for printed evidence in their literature that jehovah's witnesses train their publishers/pioneers to target people who are suceptible to being recruited - i.e.

people who have experienced a loss, or who are emotionally vulnerable.

I'm sure someone will know better than me but I thought I remember a wt that talked about contacting recently deceaced family members (cruising the obit's) which I find disgusting. It wasn't worded exactly like that but that was the gist of it. I think it was an older wt, when they still had 2 meetings a week (?) These things stay in the psyche of the r & f so even if it is not still suggested in print it is still there in their collective subconscious, in my opinion.
