Cantleave, I agree completely. Reniaa is basing her arguments (if they even qualify to be called arguments) on baseless assertions- that it is wrong to be compensated for your work, and that there is a true religion.

Reniaa is just talking out of her @$$. Ray made a modest compensation for his work...so?? That doesn't effect whether what he said was true or false. It also did not compensate Ray for all the time he put into his writings AND his correspondence with those who read his book. Ray never charged for that..and gave endless time to talk to others who needed.

Agreed. Reniaa/Debator is probably some miserable person frustrated with life...who believes the WZT is the way but could never live up to their demands so is on the outside...and eases her guilt by coming here and trying to defend it...thinking she is somehow fulfilling Matt 24:14.

My reply: I doubt Reniaa is really a JW anyway...as the JW lingo is "I am one of Jehovah's Witnesses" not as Reniaa says "I am a Jehovahs Witness." If she were though and were to let her elders know she posts here she would no longer be one. Her typical defense to this is to say how hateful we all are- as if that has anything to do with her grossly and brazenly disregarding WT law. LOLYou are right, the org is very clear when it says not to speak with, associate with or saunter onto websites that are apostate to the WT. It is laughable to watch Reniaa on here defend the JWs (if you call her sorry charades a defense) and call herself one of them and at the same time hypocritically doing something MAJOR that JWs are not allowed to do.

Imperfection means we can and do make mistakes and The bible gives us ample proof of that. We are given the bible to help correct and avoid those mistakes but it doesn't stop them happening.
God's people are not marked by their lack of mistakes but their reliance on Jehovah and his word to be refined and be corrected from them.
You use one example which is prophecy interpretation (an easy target) since it involves recognising signs in the world around us for Biblical prophetic fulfilment.
If you example was more honest I would give you more credit. When has any biblical prophecy been 100% except in hindsight?
It is a biblical fact that we do get surprised by how God's prophecies work out despite being told about them. The best we can do is be prepared "keep on watch" Which is what we are doing as Jehovah's witnesses.
