i always get different answers when i ask this question, or i get answers that contradict with the people givin the answer.
i ask this to various forums online and they all end up saying, when your ready and you know the conciquences.
however, that obviously doesn't work much or isn't the truth when so many little kids are getting pregnant and aids are everywhere and everything else.. so seriously.

Why Bother? One assembly at good old Twickers (for those in the know or Where? for those not) they braodcast it over FM. Now, my wife had blown a fuse what with all the 'Happiest people' all jostling about and pushing and shoving, laying great swaythes of 'saved by the bible seats' so's they could fit their family in one row and so I said well lets listen in the car (good dub that i was). So, we scuttled back and slunk into the car expecting the Ass police to move us back to the stadium, when to our surprise there were dozens of Bro's in the car park stretched out on rugs, if you please, sunning themselves with their wind-up radio's tuned in - every half hour cranking them up for the next half hours 'food'. Some had brought tables and chairs and parasols like it was a barby and kids were playing footy. Great. We never went to the stadium again but parked up, put the seats back and nodded off - till the ice-cream man came round. Last time we went actually before the fade. To think all those years of a numb bum when I could have been comfortably esconced in my car.
Sounds great, if I didn't live in a part of the world where you could fry an egg on Jaracz's head in the mid-day sun. Unfortunately, within the vicinity of the convention center, the only comfortable place to be (that doesn't have a two drink minimum) is in the convention center.....
hi gang, i am trying to decide whether or not to just lay around the pool on friday morning and afternoon or do a walking tour of the downtown.
i believe if we hung around the hotel on friday we could be there to meet and greet those arriving.
we could always tour downtown dallas on saturday, however i heard that several of you are planning on saturday to be the pool day.

Ed's brother Marion was a wonderful teacher. He was the PO at my hall in OKC when I was a child, and not only was he very knowledgeable and astute (when Pope John Paul I died suddenly after one month, he was of the opinion that it was an assassination from within. Nowadays, that seems to be a given...), but he also cared about people, especially us kids. At one point, he took it upon himself to groom me into doing more at the hall, ie, Watchtower reading at the age of 13(!), and his parts on the Service meeting were always informative. So after the whole "apostasy" thing, this loving congregation that I belonged to stabbed him in the back, and threw him out. I knew that wasn't right, but since I was only 15, I didn't have much of a say....
If I ever meet him again (if it's not too late, he's probably very old now, if he's still alive) I would thank him for treating someone of my age at the time as more than just some kid.

i have been a minor fan off and on of comic books through the years (although not as obsessed as a guy i know of who owns 1000s of the comics and delves deeply into that particular universe of artwork for spiritual insight) and have a favourite book that inspires thought and fires up my imagination:.

The FF are the greatest. Not just a team, but the original superhero Family. They have arguments, ups and downs, (Sue Richards was the first comics character that I can recall suing for divorce, back in '74), but they always manage to pull it together (thanks to the scriptwriter over the years). Just recently, the story line had them going to Heaven (long story, don't ask) and they meet the Almighty, The Creator. And it's....

My kids like Ultimate Spiderman, and I have been enjoying it too. A nice reboot of the original story.
Watchmen was very good. Also Kingdom Come . And the Daredevil story arc from 20 years ago, "Saved".
BTW, it's pronounce "Rawshark", but it's spelled Rorshach, after the psychiatric tests involving ink blot images. The character was inspired by "The Question". All of the Watchmen characters were thinly disguised versions of Charleton comics characters that DC had just acquired at the time. Since the story involved killing off characters, they made them a completely separate reality.
