My witness wife threw out my LOTR set I had gotten in the 60's while I was at work. She said they were demonic this was 1974-75. What I could never figure out is why so many witnesses love the talking pig movie Babe.....that's not demonic?

} the c.o came to visit since i had missed the servants meeting due to work.
the elders thought we needed encouragement.

i came in to the "loving" organization when they had the nasty cold food so i dont know how good the hot cooked food was.
my ex says it was pretty good, but should i have belived her?
i would think hot food made for a happier time at least for the eaters.. brzfst.
Didn't the hot food program end when the phoney "donation arrangement" for the literature start? I always thought the stampede to fill your home library with "free" literature had something to do with closing down the hot food program.

I would think that eating a freshly cooked meal would put people in a more festive mood. Those plastic wrapped hoagies were horrible....the orange juice was good.Think we bought tickets to purchace the food?

P.S. If any of you were involved in the cooking was it a hassle?
or do they merely pay lip service to the idea?
i have no doubt that some of them sincerely believe.
but when i was a kid, growing up in the '80s, i didn't know of a single witness, myself included, who didn't believe the end was close.
Overheard one sister say to another that at the DC a speaker said, "The end isn't around the corner anymore it's one step away." Don't know if that's been said before. I always felt the end is near talk is a bunch of BS.

okay, how many of you got to the convention site nice and early so that you could get the best seats on the house?.
having met in yankees stadium (difficult for me as i'm a mets fan) i always made sure i was in the shade.
hey someone had to come in early and make those watchtower hoagies (by the way, i never washed my hands).
Did the prepare food early "hook" to get five seats for my family. They were above an entrance to the main floor of the Mad City site. Just the right amount of seats for the family so we could get up anytime to walk around the hallways without getting the "snake eye" from anyone we had to politely ask to move past.

[insert indiana jones music] i missed friday's session because i had to work.
actually i wanted to work, instead of go to the dc.. .
i happen to run into a "brother" who happened to work with me on quickbuilds not too long ago.. he was df'd for a bit and reinstated this year.. my mom had talked to him on friday about my current situation (not attending meetings).. he said he wanted to talk to me to see how things were going (red flags in my head).. .
Why does my ass and back hurt when I read the program?????
That's funny Juni.....just don't sit in the middle of a row while you're reading the program.
