  How to fade quickly and get off the JW "radar screen"

  so you want to fade quickly, and keep the elders off your back?

  here's an easy way to do it:.

  1) recruit a sympathetic friend - doesn't have to be an elder, heck, doesn't even have to be a jw - to pose as the secretary for the "xyz" congregation.. 2) tell your congregation secretary you are moving to the "xyz" congregation.

  ok so i'm walking though my parents house (a rare event in itself) and i see a watchtower with a title called "what mary can teach us" or "what we can learn from mary" or some such shit.

  so i'm thinking what in the world can this be?

  What steps did you take to stop your association with the congregation?

  when i finally knew that the wts didn't have the truth,i decided to take steps to slow down and become an inactive member.

  ( i still have my whole family in.......so..... i prefer to remain inactive).

  i took these small steps :.

  Sent a letter of dissassociation to all of the elders and the WTS. That pretty much did it.

  Doing the best I can on the Global Warming...

  this winter is not over but it has, so far, been brutal.

  in our part of the world we have seen weeks of sub-freezing temps and blizzards that have left us virtually isolated.

  we live very modestly, no 10,000 sq ft mansions, no private jets or limosines, but, none the less, we do what we can to speed up global warming.
