Anyhow, It got me thinking about going back...especially when things are not going to well for me right now... (he said its because I LEFT Jehovah).
I'll give you the bottom line. My husband left the JW's when he was 19 years old. For the last 8 years outside of the organization my husband's life has gone GREAT! He is happily married, has two beautiful children, has a great job, lots of friends, etc. Nothing traumatic or even particularly bad has happened in the last 8 years - life has been good to him, God has been good to him.
You left "Jehovah's organization" (and I use that term lightly). If your life isn't going so well, you need to look elsewhere (honestly, within yourself) for reasons - because I don't believe it has anything to do with leaving the WTS.
Remember ... (Jehovah) God promises he will never leave or forsake you.
For he has said: ?I will by no means leave you nor by any means forsake you.? So that we may be of good courage and say: ?Jehovah is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?? (Hebrews 13:5,6)
By no means will God leave or forsake you. That verse does not say, "I will by no means leave you nor by any means forsake you, unless of course you leave my "earthly organization". Something to keep in mind.
Sounds like counseling would serve you well. Being a JW cannot fix the problems that are making you so unhappy, that's your job.
