  after much searching high and low, i have finally found jehovah.

  he was there all along, but i was too arrogant to see him, and his greatness.. i am so sorry to the people with whom i debated his obvious and holy existence.. he has been on wikipedia all this time.. please see, and witness this.

  Why have you rejected all forms of faith?

  it seems that when a person leaves jw's, there's just no telling where he'll end up spiritually.

  christian, jew, pagan, jamesthomasism -- i dare say every faith is represented among us.. but there are those that reject faith altogether.

  they are often accused of letting the watchtower steal god from them, or throwing the baby out with the bath.. are you one those that rejected faith altogether after your exit?

  so it's being able to observe something that's the difference between faith and knowledge? that's a bit subjective, huh? (billions of people through the centuries would attest that they have observed god's hand in their lives and so their faith is actually a knowledge of his existence...)

  It's not subjective, it's induction. Induction is concerned with probability. Of course, Hume points out we have no rational reason to follow this, so here he introduces the 'problem of induction.'

  Internet Advice

  ok, so i'm asking y'all for some computer advice as i am partly computer illiterate.. first of all, my internet connect is painfully slow.

  i'm currently using shaw cable internet and i'm getting download speeds of around 3000-4000kbps.

  i'm thinking of moving to telus adsl, though, because of a free digital camera offer.

  Thanks for the advice.

  I was running the speed tests around 3 in the morning so that explains why they were so fast. During the today, my connection has gone down to between 700-2500 kbps and I can't even break the 3000 kbps mark (my ISP advertises 5mbps). Telus over here runs at about 1.5-2.0, so it's basically the same. (Plus, my ISP also throttles p2p programs and bit torrent downloads, which now take forever and now there's no reason to really stay with cable).

  PS. The camera looks okay. Sony Cyber-Shot (4.1 megapixel).

  First of all, my internet connect is painfully slow. I'm currently using Shaw Cable Internet and I'm getting download speeds of around 3000-4000kbps. I'm thinking of moving to Telus ADSL, though, because of a free digital camera offer. Is this a good idea?

  Second, I recently purged Norton Internet Security from my computer. Instead, I run Sophos Anti-Virus and I have some sort of firewall in my DLink DI-524 router. Is this a good security set up?
