has anybody ever had any urges to act strangely at the kingdom hall?.
i remember having two very strong urges:.
the first was to stand up while everybody else was quietly listening to the meeting and throw my bible across the hall in a fit of frustration with the intention of hitting someone and waking up.

i was at work tonight and we were joking around and talking about old shows we used to watch while growing up.
i thought it would be fun if we wrote a line from a show and see if we could guess what show it came from.
my name is lenny, and if i ain't got it, there isn't any.
That still leaves these two…. I’ll give you a hint … they are both Steve Martin movies
"Sew! Sew like the wind!" also from the same movie "These are funny guys .... just kill one of them"
Another one …. "I'm in print!" and from the same movie ..... "I'm picking out a thermos for you .... not an ordinary thermos will do..."

i have become somewhat friendly with a jw lady (i am also a woman and have gotten to know her over the past four years).
i am unsure of her status in the religion.
i am not a jw but have educated myself regarding jw customs, etc.... in conversation we found we were born in the same month, and she told me when her birthday was.
It seems as if you are a genuinely interested and concerned friend. I wonder if she knows that. You could play "dumb" and invite her out for a drink to celebrate your mutual upcoming birthdays. If she accepts .... tell her about this site! If she declines .. it will at least open the door for discussion.
She is lucky to have a supportive friend ... and if she is drifting away ... she will need all the support that she can find.

the parents accused of beating their 12-year-old daughter to death have told police they were meting out the biblical punishment of "40 lashes minus one, three times," detectives said monday.
constance slack, a registered nurse at a children's hospital, gagged her daughter, laree, while she was strapped down to a futon, police said.
her father, larry slack, then repeatedly hit the child with an inch-thick section of rubberized electrical cable filled with strands of wire, police said.
I had to acknowledge reading thi, but I can't seem to find a way to articulate what I am feeling. She was one of SIX children..... God!

to the people who read this:.
my friend told me to come to this forum and go into the chat room.
when i went into the chat room and mentioned her, some of you knew who she was.
Welcome Kitty,
There is a tremendous amount of support, wisdom and wit to be found here. Relax! BTW .... anyone who discovered your identity here and ratted you out would have to do some pretty quick thinking to come up with a good reason for being here themselves!!
Hope to see you in chat.

From two of my favorite movies .....
"....he's been mostly dead all day" also from the same movie "Hello, my name is Enigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die."
"Sew! Sew like the wind!" also from the same movie "These are funny guys .... just kill one of them"

I just had to jump in on this one. I am with Mommy. Pregnant sex was the absolute best sex EVER for me. Just thinking about how excited I would get still gives me the shivvers .... God bless that second trimester!!!! I have found though that it has been hard getting back into the groove post pregnancy. My boy is six and a half months old now and I am just now getting back into the "swing" of things. Hosting a "fun" party last week helped a lot though!

education was strongly discouraged among the witnesses.
i am curious as to how many of you went on for further education and in what fields.
i will go ahead and list the ones i already know.. larc - advanced degrees in organizational psychology.
I started college when I was 26. I managed to carry a 4.0 GPA for two years. Since I was the only one supporting me, I had to return to full time employment before completing my education..... but I plan to return one day....Maybe my son and I will go to college together???
