Are we 100% sure she's not married? People get married and don't announce it sometimes.

I've been a party member for years and attended numberous meetings and events. I've never heard an anti-English sentiment yet. In fact my SNP councillor is English.
And Simon the difference between imposed EU referendums and a second Scottish referendum is pretty clear: Scots voted for a party with a pledge to hold a referendum in their manifesto.
If Scots don't want another referendum it's quite simple - don't vote SNP in June. That's democracy.
I look forward to the result!

Remember if you vote for May you're voting for a Trump state visit later in the year...

If Labour was in any way a decent opposition they would have opposed holding an election and blocked it in parliament. "Now is not the time". Then what would the Tories have done? Complained that Labour changed its mind? What like May changed her mind? Provoke a vote of no confidence in their own government? What a farce that would have been!
Labour were handed an open goal yesterday and missed.

The best Yeartext the WBTS could use for 2018 would be..... Ezek. 18: 25A
by HowTheBibleWasCreated inyou people will certainly say: “the way of jehovah is not adjusted right.”—ezek.

Ha good one.
Quite apart from Jehovah's ways, I don't think the NWT has been properly "adjusted" in this passage - to render it in any way intelligible.

I hope it backfires.

In 2016 the SNP stood on a manifesto that said they'd call a second referendum if Scotland was taken out of the EU against its will. The SNP won the election and Scotland is being taken out of the EU against its will. The SNP called for a referendum, and won the vote in partiament. The mandate could not be clearer. What have unionists got against democracy?
If the SNP stand again on a manifesto arguing for a second referendum, and win again, will Westminster still deny Scotland a vote!
Somebody asked how many referendums Scotland will have. As many referendums as Scotland votes for, quite obviously. If the SNP stand on a manifesto for a referendum, and win that election, that's democracy. It's perfectly simple.

Scotland voted No on the basis of UK in the EU.
Interesting that Scotland's referendum allowed all residents a vote. And a majority of Scots born in Scotland voted for independence. The No vote was secured from a majority of English and European voters. How will Europeans vote next time?
By contrast the European referendum excluded long term residents from Europe, some who have lived in the country for decades. What would have been the result if all residents including Europeans had been allowed to vote?
Another difference is 16 and 17 year olds were allowed to vote in the Scottish referendum.
