I doubt that anyone is right - that is my main area of doubt.

Am I right about the WT being wrong?
by FreedomFrog inhi everyone.... i was "raised" as a dub and got baptised in '86...so in total i had been a jw for over 20 years.
i came to realize that the "way of life" i was living was in fact made up of mostly lies.
i started "questioning" the borg about 6 years ago and finally came out with almostatheist last sept. i know in my heart that they are mostly wrong and very legalist.

If it is so wide, this apostate worldview, then how come I am a "troll" when:
1. I don't know whether to believe all/any of what Jehovah's Witnesses say, and
2. I am inactive>?
Sure there is a great variety on this board on many things. But on the falseness of the Witnesses all apostates must be agreed, lest they be decried as "TROLLS".
Apostates are just as wrong as Jehovah's Witnesses, surely.

Are the Society planning a 'Pledge of Allegiance'? IT MAY BE TRUE!
by nicolaou ini've just learned from a trusted contact at thewatchtower.org 'norris', that the society intend to put a resolution to the congregations shortly - though definately not at the 'special talk' meeting next month.. here's the scary bit.
this resolution needs to be responded to by all baptized jehovah's witnesses.
we have not been able to get hold of the wording but have been informed it is intended to provide the brotherhood with the opportunity to affirm their loyalty to jehovah and his organization.

This would be a stroke of genius. It would probably give the Witnesses a net gain in members in the long run. But I don't think they have the guts to do it.
They are so concerned with public image nowadays.
Even the Watchtower lawyers and defenders would have a hard time putting a positive spin on this.

Thanks for confirming my theory about the limits of liberalism when it comes to the apostate worldview.

If I have to make a choice - apostates or Jehovah's Witnesses - why can't I choose neither?
If I really do have to make a choice, then I really don't know which way to jump...

The apostate worldview is liberal in almost every respect apart from one.
You can believe in God/not believe in God. Believe the Trinity/not believe. The Bible: God or man's. You can be Republican, Democrat, black, white or green.
But those who subscribe to the apostate worldview must adhere to the single principle that bad motives are to be imputed to the actions prominant Witnesses in every instance. From the UN to the Trinity prochure or from the blood issue to Bulgaria - anyone who suggests that there may be another side to the story is a "TROLL!!!"
