Pity Ted Jaracz closed the history archive in Germany in 2008 and sent resident historian Johannes Wrobel packing.

Aha, thanks!
It’s quite remarkable that GB members are clustered in the Service department.
Of those still alive that’s: Stephen Lett, Samuel Herd, David Splane, Mark Sanderson, Gerrit Lösch, Gage Fleegle, and Anthony Morris III (recently removed)
Of recent additions, Kenneth Cook and Jeffrey Winder are in the Writing and Personnel departments respectively, and Gage Fleegle in the Service department.
Has there been a slight move away from the Service department since Jaracz died in 2010?

I’ve done a bit of research to discover which committees Governing Body members served in before and during their time on the Governing Body. So far as I can make out these are the details (some names appear twice because they served on more than one committee, but many apparently remained on one committee the whole time. Karl Klein specifically mentions being moved from the Service department to the Writing department, apparently an unusual move):
Service Committee - Stephen Lett, Samuel Herd, David Splane, Mark Sanderson, Gage Fleegle, Gerrit Lösch, Martin Poetzinger, Carey Barber, Karl Klein, Theodore Jaracz, William Jackson, Thomas Sullivan
Teaching Committee - Stephen Lett, Albert Schroeder, John Booth
Personnel Committee - Guy Pierce, Jeffrey Winder, Daniel Sydlik, Charles Fekel
Writing Department - David Splane, Kenneth Cook, Geoffrey Jackson, Jack Barr, Karl Klein, Lloyd Barry, Raymond Franz
Publishing Committee - William Jackson
Coordinators’ Committee - ?
I didn’t find any who were clearly from the Coordinators’ committee, the committee that deals with legal challenges, disasters, and persecution. Maybe Mark Sanderson is on that?
I didn’t find clear committees for the following GB members:
Grant Suiter, Nathan Knorr, Lyman Swingle, Milton Henschel, John Groh, George Gangas, Leo Greenlees, Ewart Chitty, John Groh
But from the incomplete information it does appear that the majority of GB members have been associated with the Service committee. I think there is plausible circumstantial evidence to suggest that Theodore Jaracz played a role in bringing Martin Poetzinger, Gerrit Lösch, Samuel Herd, Stephen Lett and David Splane onto the GB and into the Service department and that it was his power base.
Incidentally, which department was Anthony Morris III in? I was assuming it was the Service department, but now I’m not sure.

Depiction of Governing Body on JW org
by Listener ina topic was started over at reddit directing people's attention to a depiction on jw.org of the governing body.
it's not in their publication, only on the website under the topic of "what is the governing body?
but who are these guys in the depiction?.

Yes that picture is a very odd combination of somewhat recognisable individuals alongside generic figures. I wonder what that means. Does the fact that Sanderson looks like he is easy to identify mean that he occupies a powerful role on the GB? Or are his features simply easier to caricature than the others?
Another thing is they all look thinner than actual GB members.

Assembling a few relevant facts, it might be possible to string together a narrative that the removal of AMIII is part of a move toward liberalisation on the part of the GB. Because Morris came from the service department when Jaracz was in charge, as did the majority GB members come through the service department, which has a reputation for being hardline. Yet the most recent GB appointments have not come from the service department. So perhaps there has been a revolt against the Jaracz endorsed hardliners who came up through the service department, exacerbated by the recent legal problems and by a growing awareness that Jaracz was a bad apple. Lösch was also handpicked by Jaracz and has been known to be a hardliner in the past, but he’s probably too old now to do much harm.
Having said all that, I think Morris probably gave the other GB members a good excuse for kicking him out. I know a lot of people drink at bethel and it’s not often people are removed for drunkenness, but if Morris was an aggressive drunk, and if he turned up at congregation and GB meetings visibly intoxicated, then I can see that might have been good enough reason for the other GB members to remove him, perhaps after a couple of warnings.

On the one hand I didn’t like a lot of the things he said. But on the other hand I had a certain amount of respect for someone who had converted to JWs as an adult and made it onto the GB. That’s pretty rare. And respect for someone who had experienced Vietnam as a medic and who had a family, and so could relate to people with families, which again is rare on the GB. He was somewhat flawed and unpleasant (the blowing out the match incident) but also troubled and emotional, which made him a sympathetic character in some ways.

What theories are crazy or irrelevant here, can you be specific?
There’s nothing here that’s crazier than his own livestream. Or him sending legal threats to people for telling the truth about him on the Internet. Or him posting public statements that he will stalk Kim to the ends of the earth for the next 40 years. Crazy? You’re looking in the wrong direction. Psychiatrist Dr Sohom Das identified the problem as psychopathy and narcissism, and journalist Andrew Gold has been on the receiving end of what he describes as threatening and cultish behaviour from LE.

I just watched it that was pretty rough. It’s a polite audience in Zagreb is all I’ll say. It descends into an infomercial for the LE channel.
“Some of the content of my channel is of a sexual nature, but not me, about them (Jehovah’s Witnesses)”.
I guess that’s the livestream wiped from the record then.
Then goes into his sexual habits nobody wants to know. That is so cringe. I’m surprised he posted this.
Were there actual jokes in there? There were a few sarcastic observations about English speakers and shopping malls if those count.

You say he’s finished but I don’t see that at all. His Patreon is still at a level that can sustain him and one or two employees for the foreseeable future.
You say he can never cover abuse stories again but I don’t see that either. He is just biding his time and building back slowly. I am sure he plans to get O’Donnell and others back on board at some point. He went to the meeting in the UK parliament about the commission on abuse and made a video about it. He has no intention of leaving it alone.
The major problem for LE as I see it is that he now hates the subject of JWs and he is lazy. But he wants the money, so what can he do? Gradually rebuild his band of volunteers to do the work for him and keep as much of the Patreon money for himself as possible. He has an ongoing internal battle between greed and boredom, which may ultimately be determined by whether or not he is able to co-opt others to do the work for him.
People’s interest in the topic comes and goes and that’s okay, but the drama is far from over.

I agree with everyone above, this is definitely a deletion. The terse message leaves no doubt. He either resigned under pressure or was removed.
Good point about the videos! I hope somebody is capturing all the AMIII videos now in case they disappear.
That reminds me, wasn’t he hectoring JWs to get back off Zoom and back to the Kingdom Hall only a few weeks ago? In that case this would appear to be SUDDEN!
