RENAII had a baby girl 7lb 9ozs yay
by chikikie inhi just to let everyone know my sister becky had a baby girl this morning, via c-section, thankfully no blood transfusion needed, so no difficult choice there altho i did say if she needed it, she better bloody well have it, its more of a sin to leave your children motherless than submit to a law which may or may not be inspired of god.. i dunno name maybe elizabeth, who knows, she has been known to change her mind!!!.
mother and baby doing well..

Did anyone resist getting baptized
by Wordly Andre indid anyone resist getting baptized?
starting at the age of 12 my parents were pressuring me to get dunked, it started when i came home from school one day and there was a young dub waiting to study with me, he tried for a few months till it became obvious he was more interested in my sister than getting me in that pool.
another attempt was made when i was in the 8th grade, i was walking home from school and a pick up truck pulled over right in front of me and there was another young jehovie, he told me to get in the car, i told him no, and he said that if i didnt get in i would be in big trouble with my parents, reluctantly i got in, he proceeded to take me around town to a few of my friends(worldly) homes and started telling me that these people were all going to die, and that if i wanted to die with them.

I feel for those of you who went through hell resisting as kids!
As an adult trainnee, I felt like crap for resisting. The other 20% of not taking the plunge was due to missing meetings. But the pressure was enormous and I didn't have any jw family/friends/spouse. It was very heavy on the mind and body.

Pressuring someone repeatedly, whether a child or adult, will only cause that person to make a hasty decision that is likely a very wrong one, or one that can backfire onto those doing the imposing.

Family Guy
by Wordly Andre inever notice that family guy has a lot of jw humor?
the very first episode when peter is talking about how the brady bunch lived in a bad neighborhood, and he says all we got are jemima witnesses, then aunt jemima pops her head in the window and says, yall wants some pancakes.. .
or when the evil monkey in chris' room turns into a jw and he does that evil point to chris while holding a watchtower.

Yes, I've noticed that nowadays.

Someone here has that as an avatar.

Maybe I should rephrase the title on this one - " Women - Do you really Care what men want in a relationship ! "
Lol...nope!
I used to have the soft and pink mentality of a woman, but that changed when I realized that men (that I am and have been around) want the combination of a mother, a dumb bitch, a happily unpaid prostitute and submissive missy all in one. (vomit)
An honest question I have is, "Why do men Want to be in a relationship?"

Who lets it be known that they were once a JW?
by lfcviking ini am curious, for those of us here who have left the jw org, who actually lets it be known to people that they were once a practicing jw.. for me, this is something i tend to keep quiet because it is something i'm not particularly proud of.
anyone else feel the same way?.

No way. That $hit is embarrassing! Everyone knows the jw's are out there, to say the least.
