Geez...is nothing sacred on this board?
Well, I left plenty of time to get to the airport, but traffic was sooo bad that I almost missed the flight...made it with 15 minutes to spare...was totally stressed to the max! Told Katie I would call her in flight, but discovered that use of cell phones was prohibited, so I left her standing there at the John Wayne airport in great anticipation.
I had only a small carry-on bag , so I was able to meet Katie immediately as I walked out of the secured area. I cell-phoned her to find out where she was, and as I was walking down the stairs she stepped out from behind a large pillar, and our eyes met for the first time A while later, after prolonged hugs and kisses, we headed home...an hour and a half drive (sheesh).
Our lives will never ever be the same! We have so much in common, and are so comfortable and happy with each other....what happens next is inevitable.

just wondering about some of the profile pics...i think its nice to know a bit about the person you want us see, or the person you don't want us to see.
so what were you thinking when the pic was taken, how long ago, and where were you?
mine was taken last month, just after my 36th birthday.
Simple.......pigs flying (not according to xenawarrior), motto: I'll go back when pigs fly!

before my dad went into surgery he asked that i contact the people on this board and let them know how much it ment to him much it ment to him over the past month or so to be able to talk with all of you.. this is one of the few things in his life he could still enjoy.dad wanted to especially thank craig (ona ) for accepting him and apologies for anything he said that might have offended you.. my father was in so much pain over the past seven years ,god must have thought it was time, dad passed a few houres after surgery.. dad asked not to have a service and will be cremated than placed in an urn ( as he said "so he can keep an eye on mom" ) we all loved him deeply and he will be missed.
i will leave the company email should anyone want to,i will print them out for mom and the family to read.. again thanks to all, our love is with each and every one of you.. matthew mc cune [email protected]
My deepest sympathies to your family Matthew. I chatted many times with your father in the chat room and had absolutely no idea he was ill, what a very brave man. I do wish I had known more about him and especially that he was ill. Maybe I could have at least offered him some comfort, it makes me feel very sad that he was so sick.
Craig (ona) and I talked in great length on the phone after he saw this post....he was very touched by the fact that your father had concern for him and if he had only known the severity of his illness he surely would have shown more concern for your father. The thought came to us that maybe your father just wanted to be "one of the guys" and hang out in chat without thinking of his illness....sorta took his mind off it and in that case it was an extream pleasure to have been a part of making him feel a bit better. All I can say is what a guy, and what a huge loss for you and your Mom.
