Hate CO Visit

recently had its co visit, and i realized how fake people can be when the co is around.

elders take time off of work to go out on service during the week, ms's that want to be elders kiss butt to the co. taking the co and his wife out to lunch become a competition.

when all the wt anointed have died, will they keep having a memorial, where everyone comes and no one participates - and how accurate will that "channel of judgement" communication be with those judging from "heaven" ?

will they say that jesus actually returns invisibly then too ?

I don't understand why any of the earthly class (great crowd) attend the memorial in the first place.

There weren't any great crowd people at the original memorial.

My small but hopefully mighty note to the newspaper

it's not terribly impressive, but given the small size of this town and the small number of pubs at the kh, this might be relatively huge.. i just emailed this to the newspaper editor today:i gave blood tuesday, april 4th for the first time.

somewhere, someone's life might be saved by my donation.

i work at **** hospital*** and have seen blood used to bring color to someone's granny's cheeks, to help a new mom recover from a difficult childbirth and to give a young man with cancer a higher count so that he can receive chemotherapy and continue his fight.

It feels good to actually do something that other people do need and appreciate.

I gave blood the first time (only time so far) last year. I almost passed out .

makes most of the meetings, all the conventions, comments, is still active socially with the congregation,out in service, hall building etc.

just wondering, because we know who are the elders, or recently former elders and i usually seek their posts for some interesting comments... .

Just remember If and when you quit the wbts all the friends that you got will treat you as dead. All your friends in the borg are conditional friends. They will only be your friends if you meet the wtbs conditions.

yeah, you heard me correctly.

i used to attend a congregation that housed the circuit overseer, he had an apartment on the bottom floor of the kingdom hall.

everything was provided for him, apartment, utilities, health insurance, meals, and get this - cable tv!!!

I wonder if the governing body has all the cable channels? Instead of wasting time in front of satans

boob tube why not use the oppurtunity to increase knowledge of Jehovah's organisation, or

better yet increase your field activity or... I better stop I'm making myself sick.

i know this has been talked about before but i still find it ...interesting.. if jesus did return in 1914(invisibly) why do the jw still observe passover.

was it not to be observed until he arrived?

maybe that is the new light jesus did not come in 1914 he is coming now, and that would explain why this may be the last memorial.. just a thought

now im not ashamed to admit i havent quite figured that out yet, so my reply was, it could be any minister who truely looks out for their congregation.

so my question is this....... what and who do those scriptures represent?

cardinal = do

priest = elder

deacon = ms

i have always wondered from the time of being a child and being familiar with a few of the professed 144,000 remnant; just why is there no enlightenment coming from them?

the only enlightenment or new light is coming from the few in brooklyn, new york.

does not make sense to me.

Of course it doesn't make any sense. They make it up as they go.

I knew 3 annointed older ones and the one was an older married woman with 2 kids I asked

her why she and the rest of the annointed weren't up at bethel helping direct the org.,

The answer ; they had things under control there and she was needed here and other obligations

blah blah blah...

Right now I know one annointed bro who is in his 30s. Jehovah must have needed a replacement for

an annointed defector, armaggedon could be a long way off.

Food requirements of the Law Covenant ??

"every moving thing that is alive shall be food for you; i give all to you, as i gave the green plant.. if this is part of an everlasting covenant as jw's contend why didn't the israelites remind god of it when he instituted the food requirements of the law covenant?.

what is the jw explanation?.

What was I thinking the answer is so simple; the law covenant was new light. Then when christ came along , there was a readjustment of thinking God just went back to allowing all foods, Henceforth the WBTS is just imitating Gods arrangement, this is balanced and reasonable for christian unity in Jehovah's organisation.
