  i've been watching the new dvd and it is a bull fest about russell.

  i haven't even gotten half way and they already excluded one very important bit of information.

  you'll recall that russell "lost" his faith and "turning away from church creeds and searching for truth, russell examined some leading oriental religions, only to find these unsatisfying".

  this is an excerpt from the final talk of the day, "remain in the secret place of the most high".

  i looked around as this explanation was being offered up, and the looks on the faces of people there was mostly disinterest.

  this is a very convoluted explanation that reminds me of someone running a con and trying to cobble together an explanation to deal with legitimate objections to their false claims.. http://www.sendspace.com/file/dodp4w.

  If a witness taught this a couple of years ago they would be disfellowshipped?

  Do not teach the old version that the society taught for some 80 years or you will be disfellowshipped?

  .....correspondingly the generation referred to at Mathew chapter 24:34 comprises 2 groups of anointed Christians, 2 groups of anointed Christians

  .....Jesus words at Mathew 24:34 indicate that some in the 2nd group will witness the beginning of the great tribulation......

  He does not say the 1st group would witness the start of the Great Tribulation.

  Only that some from the 2nd group would witness the start of the Great Tribulation.

  Sooooooooo all the 1st group must die before the start of the Great Tribulation.

  It is a thrilling new provision from Jehovah

  It is a delightful new dvd

  Why does this part make me think of the price is right??

  I wonder if the teens are having fun with this term "the secret place"

  i still go to a few meetings a month just to keep members of my family happy.. the witnesses seemed to be getting all worked up about how close the end.
