A relative of mine started working for Grace Montessori School.
She was reinstated while working there.
I don't understand how this is OK for a JW, am I missing something?
Anyone have any comments or JW articles on how this is OK for a JW?
She is an assistant teacher, and plans on becoming a teacher.
Here is some of the schools statements about itself:
We pay our teachers good salaries and provide them with health insurance and a pension plan because The Episcopal Church insists that all its employees receive fair pay and benefits equal to those of its clergy. The school’s identity - its reason for having been brought into existence, its reason for being, its moral and ethical principles, how it decides on its business model, what tuition it charges, what salaries and benefits it elects to pay, the character of the people it hires and retains, its commitment to the poor and to the problems of the inner city, its insistence on respect for the value of all people, all religions, all cultures – comes from the core beliefs of the institution that owns it, Grace Church.
Established in 1992 as an outreach of Grace Episcopal Church, Grace Montessori School is a not-for-profit, urban school and childcare center.
Some key alignments of our school are: · Full Member School of the American Montessori Society · Membership in National Association of Episcopal Schools · Continued outreach program of Grace Episcopal Church with social justice goal to provide scholarships to 30 percent of enrolled students based upon financial need We strive to educate the whole child - cognitively, spiritually, and physically, and our classroom environments are large, inviting and well equipped. | |
