I wrote to Mr. Angus Stewart regarding the "inactive" status claims made by the Watchtower at the ARC
by EdenOne inthis is the email i have just sent to mr. stewart angus, who has been conducting the questioning of the jw leaders during the australian royal commission dealing with child abuse cases among the jehovah's witnesses, concerning the claims made that a jehovah witness who wishes to walk away from the organization can simply become inactive and avoid being shunned:.

i have followed with interest the videos of the arc regarding the jehovah's witnesses in australia.

No the letter is Allowing people with free will to do whatever the h double toothpicks they want no more micro managing before the letter they can pick a choose who they wanted to visit or speak to now it's up to there conscience if there going to show love or not

Some people need to be told not to shun. Now all they have to do i is tell rank and file to speak to people made in God's image and acknowledge them.

Shunning - Are Mothers Most Fanatical?
by Lostandfound inon many posts by those with experience of df or da shunning, it look to me that the most fanatical observers of the shunning practise are mothers, and when a person approached parents about their own doubts or intentions, approaching the mother the most daunting prospect .
odd that visiting warwick leaflet has a picture of a meeting of some sort with a room comprising men only, given the subordinate role given to women, one might think they would be more liberal over shunning close ones, but not so.. what drives this, is it grabbing an opportunity to be more visible by their loyalty, or low level of education of a lot of dubs so that the sisters blindly accept direction or authority.
i might have expected some kick back against the shunning practise by sisters giving evidence to their independence of thought.. our real thinkers here will be able to explain this fanaticism of loyalty better.

I have found both mothers and fathers have all kinds of different views ie one mother has constant contact with df child I have seen same with father I find the older and longer parents have been Jw the softer they are on shunning.To me it's similar to a absolom and David as he got older he got wiser and more merciful I have seen others however go super hard core. Those generally are very pharisaee like. Most Jw will never see the letter that allows elders to spiritually encourage those they feel are worthy the encouragement the rest can rotate in hell.sometimes unless an elder is forced by a letter he does not give rats behind about df people.
