i understand from a tv programme that although israeli archaeologists have excavated throughout the holy land that they can't find direct evidence proof of bibical events.. (they does seem to be evidence of nomads/semi-nomads living in the jericho area),this may be related to joshua.

WT quoting things

for their creation/ecolution and their magazines.. do they ever check whether their sources of information are reliable?.
what does all this quoting `prove', when i can do selective quoting that `proves' fairies exist, give me various books about fairies and i could cut and paste to `prove' fairies exist

it is interesting what you said on my previous post about neanderthal man, because the creationists don't seem to agree on a lot of things.. e.g some say neanderthals were pre-flood human,other say they suffered from ricketts/syphilis, others that they were apes!.

The Watchtower says that Evolutionists cannot agree among themselves so that makes Evolution untrue.
By same criteria, Creationism must also be untrue!What is the alternative theory?
Does WT know what BULLSHIT some of its sources is coming with.
Does the WT dissassoite(sic)from this twaddle about AIDS/HIV etc etc?

by Mindchild ini've been entertaining myself recently by reading wendy northcutt's, the darwin awards ii which is a delightfully funny book about people so stupid that they either try to eliminate themselves from the gene pool or do so big time.. i couldn't help but think of two real life examples of jw's who should have been in this book.
one fellow was a young teenage male who had just got baptized and had recently been counseled by the elders about the sins of masturbation.
evidently he didn't let that sink in and i heard that he had a rather embarrassing emergency.
