Not according to the God and Science Website which says that Neanderthals were apes.

That's pretty funny. The Young-Earth Creationist camp led by the Institute for Creation Research is now claiming that Neandertals were pre-Flood men who lived for hundreds of years, and that the typical Neandertal physique is the normal one for humans who would live for hundreds of years.
