Life is great! Been mostly out since 2000 but last meeting (Memorial) was 2003.
I'm having my revenge by living a good and happy life.
Why... I just recently discovered the greatest new catfish bait.........Snausages doggy treats. Catfish love it!
Actually, I've tried other dog and cat treats......the soft ones that can be put on a hook.

i'm going to check all the gas stations from now on when i refuel.
this is from an email i got from a friend.
there was a report that 1 out of 4 gas stations had calibrated their pumps to show more gas being pumped than what you actually got.. here is how to check a pump to see if you are getting the right amount.. whatever grade you are using, put exactly 10 gallons in your tank, then look at the dollar amount.

I would also send a letter of why you no longer want to be a follower of the "borg" to every JW you know. Who knows.....it might make a few who feel the same way make their decision.

you are a gem and I congratulate you for your decision. This old HappyDad and ex elder wishes every spouse who has come to JWN can have the same happiness as your spouse.
Your letter is wonderful......but I would wait a day or so until the bubbly wears off a little. Change a few words and then submit it. Let them know you are not a robot.

A cheap remedy is boric acid powder....preferably blue boric acid powder that I haven't seen in many years. The white will do though!
Just make a line of powder (like cocaine snorters do) along the baseboards. The ants and other insects have to cross it to wherever they are going and it eventually kills them all. I learned this while working for the Orkin army.
They don't use because expensive chemicals that act faster bring in more money. That's understandable!

a letter was read at tonight's meeting announcing that the governing body has decided to stop work on saturdays at all bethels worldwide.
bethel workers are encouraged to now spend saturdays with their local congregation in field service.
the new arrangement goes into effect june, 2009.. what do you think are the motives for such a change?.
Motives? Hmmmmmmmmm...............
From what I read here, they have sub-contracted so much work out and laid off (so to speak) so many long time workers that there isn't much to do these days. At least it gives the "faithful" slaves extra time for themselves. I don't think for a minute that they will spend that much time in the preaching work in the congs. they are assigned to but will use the time for having fun.

The last one I attended was about 3 months after my wife died in 1996. I tried going for one day in 1997 but left after a few hours and came back home. I was mentally on the way out of the borg.
