Are you SLOW to anger?
by JH inare you like me, a good guy, and very very slow to anger?
but then comes a time to explode when you get really mad, right?.
do you think that some people abuse of you because you are gentle?

I never get angry. I just get even. I think that getting angry is a healthier trait.
Even on the highway when some asshole cuts me off, I don't blink, don't move, don't look over at the car. If I did, I think I'd run the bastard off of the road.
If I had my way, I would be one angry, yelling, screaming, unreasonable sonofbitch.
But, I've learned to smash that anger back into the brain......anger will get you nowhere. Subtlty and a resonable attitude always works in diffusing a situation, and later on, there are no regrets.

My JW Husband Got a "Privilege" Back - UGH!
by worldlygirl inmy jw husband came home from his meeting yesterday a little later than usual, and when i asked him where he had been, he said he had to meet with the elders after the meeting.
well, it seems that even though he is reinstated, he has to ask for each of his"privileges" back one at a time.
nothing like prolonging the agony!!

WG,
I gotta tell ya kiddo, I understand why you're pissed, but you gotta be more subtle with the guy to get through to him, to teach him that these guys are just enjoying toying with him.
I definitely understand your frustration, but be calmer about things next time, think of something to say ahead of time.
good luck,

I know of one brother who was handed an apostate leaflet, and then had his picture taken with it before he realised what it was! He wasn't too happy when he realised
Bwahahahahahaha!!!!!!!
That's so great!
Made my day.

Cute and frightening. Wouldn't want those little guys in my backyard in the morning, expecially if I have an excitable Chiuaua running around in the grass.
*high pitched barks*
*doggie nips at bears*
*yelp!*
*gulp*
*burp*
*bear gives you thumbs up sign and waits for seconds*

Rule #1 when leading a country---don't taunt the enemy. This isn't a football game.

Do You Now Appreciate Your Worth Since You Are Out Of The Organization?
by minimus inso many people that are witnesses feel down and unworthy.
do you still feel this way about yourself??
?

You just have to adjust to being a regular guy.
I know. It's been five years, and I don't miss the old life, I don't miss my old 'friends', but I think I'm still licking my wounds a bit.
You seem much older than you are.
I sound older than 23 years old? Fantastic. I like to keep people guessing.
I always thought of you as one who's pretty sure of yourself.
I am always pretty sure of my decisions, I just don't feel like I'm making a difference. I have so much to work on as a person. Self-preservation was my God for so long, that breaking the cycle and definitively starting to live is the real hard part.
Joel,
I keep telling myself that I am okay. Maybe one day I'll hear it and believe it.
I hear ya, bro.
