  ..for all of you who logged onto my thread for all the wrong reasons ..good for you!!..lol!

  !.....the "bristle" dart board is considered the best dart board.others are made of compressed paper or composition.the earliest dart boards were made of elm.....in very poor villages that had no wood.they would lay the village idiot over an empty beer barrel and use his bum for a dart board.as long as his beer glass was full he didn`t mind..theres an advantage to using a village idiot`s bum as a dart board.you always know when you got a bulls-eye!the village idiot would get a very suprised look on his face,raise his shot glass and shout"whu-hoo!

  Yes, I keep hoping to find someone that I used to know as a JW. But I can't even find the nerve to put my real country in my profile, so there's little hope of actually finding anyone.

  it appears that alot of hanky panky is going on here.

  for instance, i know for a fact that some contractors have arrangements to be paid.

  dear friends,.

  i learned yesterday that a local co stated in his talk that comments at the wt study are to be from the page and nothing beyond, per brooklyn.

  i wasn't there - this may be merely anecdotal and i cannot verify it at present.

  In the last year we attended meetings I quit prestudying. I did my underlining at the meeting, it helped me keep awake. I didn't particularly care what anyone thought about my study habits.

  when i lived farther up country..i had a car load of dub ladys come to the ranch..i told them they supported an organization that would kill everyone but jw`s.thats what i was taught when i was a kid..they said "no",that decision will be made at armageddon..??

  ?..i figuered "theocratic warefare stratagey"..they were lying to me!.....i talked to my mom a few years later and made the same comment..she said "no,that decision will be made at armageddon.??

  ?.this is the person that taught that doctrine to me.i just rolled my eyes.more "theocratic warefare stratagey".that woman woud lie in a heart beat for the wbt$.....yesterday the subject came up on a thread and hillary_step said the comment is true.....hillary and i have been friends for years,he totally blew me away..i could`nt believe what i was reading..he said the change had been made in the "90`s".....so now i have some questions for those who are more up to date on this subject than i..hillary_step,if your kick`n around please chime in.......#1:when did the wbt$ decied to quit preaching only the jw`s would get into the new system?..#2if you no longer need to be a jw to get into the new system,why bother?..#3:dieing at armageddon because your not a jw,was a gun to your head to join the jw`s.what do they use now?.....this isn`t the same religion i walked away from decades ago..this,the un scandel,the generation change,blood factions now acceptable..the wbt$ is morphing before our eyes and jw`s dont see it..lol!

  Mad, we left in the early 90s. The judgement being left to Christ is a technicality, every JW that I ever knew believed that Christ WOULD judge that only ACTIVE JWs were fit to survive. It's another example of their 'double speak'.

  Thanks, IP_SEC. Human contact is very important for a healthy mind. I'm not sure about how safe it would be to go around hugging strangers though.

  a phenomenon of cult mind control is that followers are not to qustion what the leaders say, regardless of how unrealistic or contary to human experience.

  consider the following watchtower concepts that jws accept without question.

  these are common concepts that any jw could (but does not) prove to be either wrong or straight out lies.. there was a huge increase in earthquakes in the 20th centuryjehovah will kill billions of people because he is a god of lovethe wts correctly foretold the events of 1914the watchtower never suggested 1975lions used to be vegetarian before the flood and will be in the new systemso if the watchtower wrote that 1+1=3 would you have believed it.

  Most JWs would try to justify it. I may not have openly doubted it, but I would never have accepted it. I'm guessing at that, of course. But there were many things that I never accepted. I never accepted that only JWs would survive Armaggedon.
  
  My husband just reminded me that there were a few things that we openly disagreed with. One example was the teaching that the resurrected wouldn't marry.

  We must've been giving off 'signals' when we were still active JWs but starting to see through it all. The elders started making visits to us to see if everything was ok. Then we got turned in by a 'friend' for something we said that was anti-WTS. Amazingly, the C.O. came around by himself and talked to us.
  
  We just kept our thoughts to ourselves and there wasn't anything they could grab hold of. But, it was a very intense time period. I think it would've literally killed us if we would've stayed any longer. As it was, it took a long time to recuperate.
