  Love is not so much an emotion as it is an action. You can love [show love] to someone even when you do not feel any love whatsoever, thus we might conclude it is based mostly on principle. Love can therefore only be expressed genuinely through action.

  Love is putting the best interests of another at heart and ahead of you own, especially spiritually.

  Romantic love, while really really fun, is mainly of a sexual nature and nothing more than a myth. It's a terrible joke God has played on us to trick us into making babies. If it did not feel good, nobody would ever have sex. Don't get me wrong, I am a romantic person, but I have come to make a distinction between romantic love and true love. The honeymoon always ends and then you are left with really really having to love the person you have chosen to be with . . . and sex becomes the bonus, and hopefully you will still enjoy sex with that one . . . he he . . . more importantly, guys, hopefully, she will still enjoy having sex with you.

  dh, I watched Lorenzo Lamas and his wife get tattoos on their ankles at A-1 Tattoo in DT San Diego a few years back. They shot that show, "Renegade" right here in my neighborhood all the time. I use to sing at Fannies, the bar they use to shoot many episodes at. Lorenzo was pretty cool. He always had a moment to talk to you. Me an LL are not buddies, but I did save his life once.

  [edited to say] The reason we are not buddies even though I saved his life once is because I told him he looked totally gay in Grease. He got offended . . . so I told him it was ok that he looked gay in Grease . . . then I winked at him. He no longer talks to me.

  I for one would love to see a yearly xjw publisher's report. So far I have more success in bringing more "new ones" into this anti-org org than I ever did bringing folks into the org. We rock because we are fruits . . . er um, I meant, because of our fruits! JK

  the wts has always maintained that given "the issue of universal sovereignty" makind has been allowed to prove whether he can sucessfully rule himself.

  you know i like to post these dumb'uns but i was thinking this tonight as i sat here thinking what to post.

  then i thought to myself, why am i sitting here "wondering" what to post on a forum like this.

  i think i get more than the fair share of stick here for posts i have made because of what i do post, and i can live with that.

  I post here because I still have issues with the organization. It bodes well for me that I get to come here and read people's experiences, offer feedback, etc.. I think most of my issues will die when I am confident that my children are grown and no longer at risk to succumb to the pressure of being in or staying in the organization. Fighting for their freedom and protecting them from the organization of Jehovah's Witnesses has become my greatest purpose as of late, my mission, as it were.

  Besides, we should "not forsake the gathering of ourselves together . . . "
