i am new to this site and am having a hard time seeing if this is for ex-jws or jw's.
i am an ex jw but am wondering why i have been given the staus of "newbie" a term widely used in the congregations for new comers to the "truth".
now, if this is for people who have left and are trying to get back on their feet again, why on earth would such a variety of titles be given to members on here??

If you are looking for support for returning to the organization, you may have wondered into the wrong forum. The only support system sanctioned by the WTBTS is faithful meeting attendance until reinstatement time.

This is Abel's blood crying out from the ground, I guess, with nobody to hear or care but God. But the magnitude of the injustice simply overwhelms me and I have to speak about it or explode.

I feel the same anger at least once a day. At least once a day, some overriding rule or policy that dictated how I am suppose to think act and feel resurfaces from my JW days, and I resent it; my youth was stolen and I am only now beginning to live and enjoy life. At least once a day, because the mother of my children is still a JW, we are imposed upon by their self-righteous crap . . . and it burns my arse so bad, and all I want is for those slithering snakes to stay away from me and my kids. It infuriates me that my kids mother and all the other JW's they know are pushing them to stay in the organization and get baptized which will only lead them to denounce me, their father, as evil, and stop talking to me. What EFFING nerve they have, eh?
I have gotten very good at telling JW's who push their crap on me and my kids to "knock it the hell off". But it is weird because sometimes it is like they don't even believe I am "apostate" and they keep coming back, lol. Morons most of them.
Take heart Czar and know that entire association of apostates are suffering the same trials and tribulations you are.

Last week, my middle daughter, 15, found a large lump in her throat. It was about the size of a quarter. When she pointed it out, it was very visible.
The doctor said, after viewing the ultra-sound pics, that it was either a cyst with an unusual hardened mass inside or a carsanoma, [not sure of spelling] a cancer attached to her thyroid. We won't know for sure until they do a biopsy on the lump next Tuesday. At any rate, both are rare and not life threatening if removed in time. For now she complains of being very tired all the time and while she does not feel upset, looks like she is on the verge of tears.
We discussed what would happen if the doctor found it to be cancer and needed to remove it. The blood issue came next. Because she was raised in the organization, I needed to know what her view on blood was at this point in her life since we had discussed the blood issue in light of the WTBTS's "new light" on the blood issue. After about an hour of discussion she said that she would rather die than take another person's blood into her body . . . not even blood components or blood fractions. I did not say anything, but now, I wanted to die.
She then asked, "is it possible to donate my own blood and have them give it me if I were to need it?"
I wanted to cry with the relief I felt at that moment. Good girl, I thought.

Yes, Danny, since we left or prior to our leaving the cult of JW's we did receive some sort of education that helped to open our eyes, and "the light just keeps getting brighter and brighter". Nobody here has said they will teach you "the truth" about God's Word. We are only getting the truth out about what the WTBTS says is "the truth". We are here to, amond other things, expose their lies and half-truths, their deceptions and wrong interpretations of Scripture that has been issued dogmatically for years as the final word on prophesy. Nothing they have ever said has come true. They have been very instrumental, however, in hurting countless people over the the decades.
So, when I said, "Bring it on", I meant bring on more of your apologetic JW rhetoric. There are so many here, and I wish I could count myself among them, who are truly educated and knowledgable about the Bible and religion, especially the organization of Jehovah's Witnesses and will tear apart the rules and policies of the WTBTS and show them to be not only erroneous, but truly absurd. It was sort of the point of this thread started by Truth Seeker.

Last I checked, this is where the discussion of Jehovah's Witnesses took place. If it were apostate, even if considered by general concensus, then I suppose I would need to withdraw from being here, under the counsel of Ephesians 5:11, "have nothing to do with fruitless deeds of darkness, but expose them."
Well really then, when you consider that 99.9% of all members of this forum, including its moderators, are XJW's and considered by the Society's standards, apostate, you really are out of your own loop on this one. But you playing dumb is kind of cute.

We were warned that wrong teachings would come into the congregation. From where do these men and their wrong teachings come from? Where did they come from in Jesus day? The Pharisees set themselves up as scholars of the law and added many oral teachings to the written law and they were critical of the existing religious system and demanded that good Jews adhere to their interpretation of the law. It was burdensome and hypocritical, which Jesus so aptly points out. The wrong teachings and burdens came from the top down, not from below.
From where do the wrong teachings come into the organization of Jehovah's Witnesses? If you were to say from apostates, you would be so incorrect. An apostate and his wrong teachings can't get within 50 feet of a Kingdom Hall, and you know it. The wrong teachings are coming right down from the top, the Governing Body, the modern day Pharisees.
I will stay away from men like that and the organization they control, thankyou. Thus, I will not have to worry about men such as that.

Theocrat, your very presence on this board contradicts everything you say. Think about it. Who appointed you to come here, to an apostate board, against the admonition of the organization, the Moses-like "arrangement" you serve under to give a witness? You reek of hypocrisy and I for one would like to know the name of your congregation and PO so that I can help bind up your conscience a bit tighter in the beliefs you espouse. The "rank and file" of Isreal were schmucks to question Moses, yes! How dare they? I mean, they only saw miracle after miracle performed by God through Moses. They only saw themselves delivered time and again from the Egyptians, and against all odds, with Moses and his staff (not an office staff, but a long stick that has a snake-like alter-ego) at the front of the line giving credit to God for such wonderful and faith inspiring successes. For them to question the autority given Moses by God was absured and foolish. Little do you know or appreciate, apparently, that the only things that bear witness to the authority and credibility of the WTBTS are many failed prophesies and false Scriptural interpretations . . . and please refer to Truthseekers first post in this thread.
Explain to me, please, (because you are obviously a devinely sanctioned spokesman to come here and preach to a bunch of apostates), Why did the WTBTS join the UN against all reasoning and justification? Why do they have different standards for what constitutes loyalty to Jehovah in different countries, i.e., Malawi Vs. Mexico? And why would they counsel you and warn you if they were to know a JW in good standing, like yourself, frequents and apostate message board? You come here against the admonition of the WTBTS, which is to say, that, you are in effect "balking" at their leadership. You can't have it both ways, turbo.
